GAA quiz questions

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Heard a really good one recently at a club quiz.
Which county would regularly field 2 International rules goalkeepers in their first 15 and name them?
Took me a while to get it. Answers on the back of a tenner please..
While I'm on it anybody else have any GAA questions?

Gazzo: Yes OK thats true but there is still an umbrella "Galway County Board", hurling and football are subdivisions of that.

The actual answer is Waterford which has separate Waterford East and Waterford West County Boards!

If you want proof, remember the story recently about the money that was missing in Waterford, the news report here makes the specific distinction between the two!
