wb andy moran knocked the ball past him in 2006 via shane ryans behind if im not mistaking.liam calm down man he aint got a patch on paddy cullen,i hate saying it but fergal byron was a good a keeper and i hate saying this even more but meaths brendan murphy is good aswell.there is also a few ropey keepers out there too,paschal mcconnell and the big fella from armagh aswell,cant think of his name .anyway i would go for clucko from any of todays keepers.

Thought McGarrity still got nominated in 06 no? If memory serves McGarrity played the final as well but didn't make much of an impression. Did McGarrity deserve an allstar ahead of Dara O'Se or Nick Murphy that year. Murphy didn't do himself justice in the semi final in 06 either so it really was a toss of a coin between himself and McGarrity for that spot regardless of Whelan's punch on McGarrity.
