Can't believe that no one has mentioned shane Ryan, he carried dublin and whelan recently Con (Louth) - Posts: 511 - 20/05/2008 15:33:15 21313 Link 0 |

Come on now Con, you can't say that about Whelan, he is a God among men, he is Dublin! According to most Dubs he is the second messiah!! I think that Whelan although in earlier year was good, is seriously overrated especially by Dubs. Niamh (Derry) - Posts: 2397 - 20/05/2008 15:54:23 21324 Link 0 |

Niamh & Dub in Meath. I think on his day Whelan is awesome. (eg first Tyrone game in '05) He has become a better player since the partnership with Shane commenced. Ciaran is a great fielder and makes lung bursting runs and scores the occasional spectacular goal. But Shane does the donkey work. Often un noticed and un spectacular. dubupnorth (Dublin) - Posts: 1897 - 20/05/2008 16:40:29 21348 Link 0 |

Seeing it hasn't been mentioned before I'm going to say Foster and Allen. RMDrive (Donegal) - Posts: 2202 - 20/05/2008 18:50:34 21414 Link 0 |

Us Farneymen would rate Eoin Lennon up there with any of todays top midfielders. On his day can dominate the middle third in the air and open play. Injured towards end of the league which restricted his performances a bit. Hopefully the rest of you will know what I'm talking about by the end of Sunday's game in Brewster Park.
