the kiltubrid-kinlough league game was meant to have been a cracker, from what i heard kiltubrid may feel they can pull it off

have to agree..kiltubrid have confidence and if they win the div 4 final it wil only help them in the div 1 decider...plus manor have connaught the weekend after so who knows wat mite happen...

have to say it will be a good game. Two good footballing teams. Kiltubrid topped the table which does show they were consisted all year only losin one. Melvin Gaels was a surprise in the championship, but ya always need to scrape past one, which they didnt do. Manor, undoubtably the best team in leitrim, its hard to disagree, but the connaught on the week after mite prove a distraction for us-looking forward to what should be a good game.

it was a good game considering the conditions-could of went either way but in fairness to kiltubrid they always seemed to have the upper hand

Good win by manor today against kiltubrid today in the league final won by five points in the end. However given the gulf in standards between todays and next weeks opponents they are going to have to up it another couple of levels. Kiltubrid once again flatter to deceive, their forward play was appalling. Manors league and championship double highlights my argument that they are the best club team in Leitrim since Allen Gaels however they must perform next week or my statements will look foolish if they dont already. Remember winning is a good habit when you start losing lads its a bad habit.

John, how many times over the past few months have you slated Kiltubrid? They were the 2nd best team in the county this season, 2nd only to a very strong manor team who retained their championship and reached their 2nd league final in a row. Yes, they lost badly to Kinlough (but then they went to Kinlough and avenged the championship defeat to reach the league final), and they played poorly today, but I think it's unfair to say they flattered to deceive. They reached the final on merit as it was they, not manor who topped the division. They were also backed up by their Junior League win. It must be remembered that they did all this with much the same team that won the inter and senior championships in 02 and 05, and maybe that was the reason why they fell short, but it is also a credit to the longevity of players such as Christy Carroll, who had a fantastic season. So if you have a problem with the club spell it out, instead of trying to flatter yourself and deceive other forum users with your plagiaristic, philosophical bull...

Welcome back Creidim I havent heard from you in such a long time. This "vandetta" that I have against Kiltubrid is farcial in the extreme. In previous posts I said Kiltubrid where an ageing team and that I didnt think they would beat Melvin Gaels. At the time you said that the idea of Kiltubrid been an ageing team was absurd and that I only made such statements because I had issues with the team. Now you come on attacking me again of dislike even though you have stated that the team has been together for more than seven years hense making your previous arguments against me look foolish.Regarding my flatter to deceive comments, Credim we live in a democratic society where freedom of speech is permitted in the good name of our nation. Therefore I believe I can make my opinion felt whether it is agreed upon or not hense the need for constructive and forward thinking debate.I believe Kiltubrid flattered in knockout games at senior level this season, there league form was excellent. Also Credim and I have noticed this in your previous comments that you refer back to other users on this forum and how they should interprete my "jargan". It is not for you with the greatest respect to decide what other forum users should think of me, they themselves have the right to debate just as much as you or I. Also and I state this is not a rant rather a discussion you seem to think that my "philosopical" way of debate is an attempt at pulling the wool over the eyes of some forum users but not you as you seem to think that you have a higher intellectual ability such arrogance should not and will not be tolerated on hoganstand. If there is any dislike on this forum and unlike you I will not make reference to other users to back up my arguments it is yours against me as you continually try to put my views down as if this were a extremist and fundamentalist state. Regards and wishing you the best in all your endeavours.
John Morrison

Good to see that Charlotted agrees, anyone else of the same view??

Relax John, you sound like you're about to blow a gasket!!
The major problem that I have with your "vendetta" is that it is so constipated with big words, sweeping statements and attempts to seize the moral high ground (as akin to your namesake in his interviews and coaching column) that your opinion and what you actually mean is lost in translation.
I think it's fair to say that you do have a problem with Kiltubrid GFC as a look at your previous posts on the club will testify...
Finally, I am not arrogant enough at 19 years of age to think that I'm "intellectually superior" to other forum users-"other" forum users being a bracket I include myself in.
I think you should look a little closer to home to find someone of that point of view...

Kiltubrid were very poor but there is a simple explaination, Kiltubrid have had one game since there quarter final Knockout to Melvin Gaels and Manor have had 5 or 6 and are still obviously at championship pace-well done manor and best of luck against corofin....
