Irrelevant. Most of the DCU team is non-Dublin.

330007 You beat us in 98 for the first time i think in 72 years nearly 100

Maths not your strong point then Toma007. Just to let you know that we actually beat you by 5 points in the Leinster final in 2000 also. Do you not remember that ???? Showing your lack of knowledge once again i'm afraid Toma007 you're on a bad run !!!
You wanted a bet with me yesterday that Dublin would win by 10+ then you bottled it and started looking for odds. Think the Dubs are cracking already !!!
C'mon Kildare ---------jj1 you know so much about kildare football .how many times have you beat us since 1928

jackeen,id look at this in two ways...one is that if dublin lose against kildare its not going to do our all ireland credentials much good...with no disrespect to kildare they are not in the same league as tyr/ker/cor/gal and a defeat would be a set back in my opinion
the second way is that if dublin lose in a close match the qualifier would arguably bring them on for the potential quarter final...the logic here is that in recent yrs competition in leinster has been poor and the five week wait after the quarter final has arguably impeded the dubs and they have fallen to the hungrier, match praticed team coming through...
my personal feeling is that the time to enter the qualifiers is early and not after provincial finals...an early exit in leinster may have set up a good run and help bring us along but a defeat on sunday wk will only de-rail amy momentum and confidence we have i feel...in a perfect world dublin would win a ultra competitive game right to the fianl whistle by two/three points and in that sense we would have gained something positive for the next day...what do you think jackeen????

Yeh I have to agree with you Seany. I think if we lose, the biggest obstacle in our way would be our hunger. It usually wanes over the month or so we have to wait to play again. I dunno, it's been so long since we had to go the back door that I just think sure why not, lets give it a lash and see if that has any effect on the way we play or even more importantly, our mentality. I always wonder with Dublin why we bottle it at the QF stages is it because we know that there's no get out of jail clause for us? If we don't win, we're out and the pressure becomes too much. True champions push through that so hopefully Gilroy has been working on their mental strength as well as physical. With Dublin, I feel that we are at our best when we have the momentum although in saying that, what happened to us last year against Tyrone. People argue that without our lynchpin (Alan Brogan) against Tyrone, we had nobody to turn to for leadership and that the weather played a part etc etc but the reality is that Tyrone were just too strong for us. Am I right in saying that if we lose to Kildare we could face Kerry in the qualifiers? Personally, I would love to face Kerry again because our last championship meeting was close, only 2 points in it. Risky though!
