Not looking great for limerick hurling. At a push Seamus Hickey might get a nomination. That is pretty much it

Selected: Joe Canning

Football: Nominated: Michael Meehan & Padraic Joyce

That's based solely on performances to date. I think the hurlers will have a few more contenders by the end of the season. I'm expecting great things from Ollie Canning, Cyril Donnellan, and Adrian Cullinane in particular. As for the footballers - I won't be surprised if they lose to Mayo, get beaten in their first qualifier match, and get no all-stars.

Hurling? No allstars, don't think of them merit a nomination (possibly McManus).

Football? I suspect we'll do enough over the next two games (or more) to add at least a second football allstar to Andy McCallins, not sure who it'll be though.

Hurling - None
Football - Nominations possibly for Terry O'Neill, Aodhan Gallagher or Michael McCann. Hopefully we'll get one.
