Interesting to see Mayo so far up many peoples lists. Can I ask what this is based on? I can only presume it's the facile victory against Roscommon? A shakey basis IMO. There's no doubting that Mayo have assembled a good young team but they still have to prove themselves capable of plaing in a tight championship game. It'll be after the Connaught final before I will form any opinion on them.

Why wouldn't Mayo be a top four team? Why would Cork be rated higher than Mayo? Why would Dublin, Armagh or Monaghan be rated higher than Mayo? Genuinely, I'm interested

5 Cork - Provincial finalists
6 Kildare - Provincial finalists

These are the only unbeaten teams left in the competition, no allowance is made for the strength or weakness of any province or the number of matches a team played before being beaten

Why are Mayo rated so highly? Beat New York and a bad Roscommon team. Didn't do anything special in the league. Dublin as well I do like them but they were nearly relegated from Div1 and played terrible against Meath, brilliant performance against Westmeath.

Ack cumon lads Dublin got a bad team. No wonder they one by that many points! Just because they beat Westmeath doesnt mean they have the power to lift the sam this september YOUS ARE LIVIN A DREAM LAND. :)

If people are looking for an outsider then I would still say Monaghan could have a long summer if and itsa big IF they manage to overcome Armagh
