paddy is just being a gilly over the whole situation.
costello moved to sligo, he goes to the it, so what, the fact is hes living in sligo and got a transfer and plays for sligo. that has nothing to do with the parsons situation and is nothing similar to it. so what about all the ballaghadereen players, they were born and bred in roscommon. the whole parsons thing has been aired on the various county pages and im not going through it for ya. your just spamming now and are a joke

Paddy, you werent at the roscommon, sunshine because of farming duties but you seem to be on here alot If Costello was good enough for mayo he wouldnt be playing with us, again we didnt go across any border to get him, unlike ye with parsons who is born and bred and STILL lives in Sligo to this day, also he goes to Sligo IT aswell last few yrs.

Farming what now? I live in Cork. Not a simple trip. Its a bit stereotypical dont you think. Just because i am from Mayo you automactically assume me to be a farmer. The fact is you guys cant be whinging about a Sligo player playing for us when you have a Mayo man playing for you. You dont see the rossies whinging about ballaghadreen.

Your starting to turn into a joke figure on here. The excuse of you not being at the ros game was farming duty, you said that on mayo board. No excuse being in cork, if you cared enough youd be there.

The rossies do whinge about ballagh and thats another different issue aswell, there all different in fact but you seem to think there the same. Again we didnt go across any border to get Costello, ye did with Parsons.

Can you imagine it now, Mayo County Board officials sweeping into Sligo like the Vikings, robbing the most promising GAA players and bringing back to the mecca..........Charlestown. Catch a grip will you. Its well know that Kevin Walsh's policy is to recruit as many of the Sligo I.T sigerson cup winning team as possible

"You dont see the rossies whinging about ballaghadreen. " But you do occasionally hear them Paddy..! Anyway, they don't have much of a case, since they nicked Ballagh off Mayo in 1899 and while we've had our fair share of good players from that neck of the woods, so have the Rossies - Dermot Earley was from somewhere around there, wasn't he?

I don't believe alan costello was making any impression on the Mayo senior panel before he moved to sligo so no complaints really

paddy see the fact u got his name wrong at the start shows your gnorance on the subject. if uve nothing constructive to post u should be stopped. we all know the facts of what happened down here. i know for a fact i know what happened a hell of a lot better than u do. fact 1, costello wasnot poached, he transferred to coolera and then played for sligo. so weve clearly ended that point Fact 2, Ballaghadereen fact 3, parsons clearly was poached in my opinion because the lad lives in sligo and ye gave him county games well before time to get him for ye. Fact 4, Ballaghadereen fact 5, u dont really have a clue about the subject as can be seen from what you wrote on it, all this has been aired on the boards before and the facts spelled out Fact 6, Ballaghadereen fact 7, no donegal players have been poached by sligo, we dont even have a border with them so cant poach from them, in fact since lacey and durcan went there are sod all donegal players in the it Fact 8, Ballaghadereen oh ya did i mention what is going on in ballaghadereen

You have some cheek pericles,Dermot Earley Snr is Roscommon to the core,a Michael Glaveys clubman from Ballinlough
Ive never had a problem with Ballagh players playin for Mayo that's where they play their club football-fair enough, but you have completely crossed the line with that remark about the Great Dermot Earley, even Paddyogall would'nt have the cheek to come out with that tripe.

Interesting there that you should mention Pat Fallon and his HOMETOWN club Balla. Is that the same Pat Fallon who was born and bred in Bailieboro Co. Cavan and played midfield for both Bailieboro and Cavan. He then went on and played with Balla and Mayo in the mid nineties. I would assume he transferred his club and County allegiance for roughly the same reasons Alan Costello did. Get your facts right before you go waffling on like a good lad.
