Castle Reserve's have dropped the first chance of silverware everyone thought they were gonna win, is this the way things will pan out for the seniors in pole position in the league with everyone gunning for them also in great shape in championship but will they prevail or fall to the chasing pack? personally i hope they win championship as it will show other small clubs that they too can push higher if they have enough heart and desire

What happened the castle tonight watching? From what I gather from the above post it would appear use were defeated? Greencastle were surely favourites so maybe it was just and off night? How did the match go? Strabane would be favourites in the final i would imagine?

Greencastle were beaten fair and square by Killyman after extra time, Yet Another trophy missing from this cabinet. The Stabane and Killyman boys keeping it quiet until they actually win something. Greencastle are starting to splutter at the crucial part of the season on all fronts.

Good one ML.
The only one spluttering is you in your cornflakes.

We were beat fair and square alright.
Think we were 7 up 10/15 mins in second half and looking good.
Killyman made a few positional switches that created two goals.
They never looked back.
We had a chance to win it at full time, went for a goal when a point would have won it.
Well enough beat in extra time.
Good luck to Killyman in the final.
Hope yous win it.
A timely boost, may lift your spirits for the dogfight in the seniors.

How refreshing to see someone take defeat on the chin and not blame the world and its mother as the reason for not winning.

Strabane v Greencastle in a fortnight.
Will probably decide the league.
Moortown might have a say in it yet though.

I think Strabane is well capable of going for the league...final win has boosted the spirits in the camp...Stabane for the league

Looks like Strabanes league now.
Played better than us yesterday and deserved the victory.
Think a draw against Augher is enough to secure the title.

Eochair - Glad to hear you all attended mass after the league game with Greencastle to ask for forgiveness for the deplorable personal abuse hurled at our esteemed and respected manager. No amateur sports person should have to endure that type of revilement.

That he does Eochair.
He was over me once,
has a big presence when he talks.
Think Mugsy`s assessment is correct though.
