I see Pomeroy v Greencastle is on Thursday night in the championship. They say that Pomeroy full forward line is where the danger is. Looking very strong. Will be hard to beat.

Greencastle have to be redhot favourites for this as they are sitting at the top of the reserve league and I was told that they have strong snior players available like O'Hagan, young McNulty and the Treacy's. We got beat at the weekend by Augher in a high scoring game although certain boys didn't play because of injury. Greencastle V Pomeroy are usually close but Greencastle have had the upper hand in the last number of games at most levels like minor and u21 and can't see there being much change in this weeks game being honest about the thing. It is in Pomeroy but.

This sure is being talked up to be a good game with both teams displaying some fringe senior men by the sounds of things. You know, I Mite even go and be home in time to watch Hector san Oz on TG4

Not sure about that ML.
I think Hagan is the only senior player available to play.
McNulty and Tracey`s playing reserve this year.
Yous have 3/4 and Lambe might even turn up.
League standings hardly apply in reserve championship.
McDermott and Conway both came on as subs for the senior game.
How many subs yous use?

I see Augher beat pomeroy in reserves last week, although I'd imagine the winners of pomeroy and greencastle will be favourites!

Do you honestly think I am going to reveal our line up on here!!!! You are right about Justy Lambe though, the omens look good for Greencastle as the forecast is heavy rain, probably unlikely that he will be there but wouldn't swear by it.

Ah now MB,
we all enjoy the crack.
Struggled to win last night i hear.
Who was the young McKenna lad that came on and scored?
Was it J McKenna`s younger brother?

I hear both Rock and derrylaughan reserves thrown out of championship.
Could anyone clarify this?

Apparently Derrylaughan played Ciaran Gervin who is not eligible to play reserve cship under new rules prohibiting county players playing in it. Seemingly they then conceded match. Not sure that Rock are thrown out though.

That regulation came in alright.
Can`t see why Rock would be put out over it.
Must have heard wrong.

Still think Strabane will win the Championship.
Too many senior players eligible, W Mullen anyway.

Fair play to Greencastle last night, just the usual good hard honest football, their goals came at the right times, we were making good progress in the second half but the goal stopped the momentum. Hope they can go on and win it now even if me and the watcher dont always see eye to eye!!!

Think Strabane susceptible to implode when the pressure is on- they seem to have an in-built self-destruct mechanism when the chips are down- if they are rattled then the in-fighting will resurface-

Alls fair in football and war ML.
Think we can get on lad.
I hear all 3 goals killed your momentum each time yous got close.
Lost 2 men to injuries in the game, MuNulty and Keenan.
This will affect the game against Killeshil on Sunday.
Strabane will hardly slip up at home to Clan na Gael.

McKenna who came on and scored a point is not Jason bother, he is Gen McKennas son.

Would be nice to see Greencastle win this, Strabane seem to be the team to beat.

Greencastle had another good win against Killeshil away.
Strabane still winning.
Think both play in the last game of the year.
Will take it to decide it.
Hopefully.
