Shocked at Galways performance.

Ballina man you really ought to take your own advice and read more carefully. The comment about Mayo regarding themselves as worldbeaters wasn't aimed at you in particular. Scroll up on this thread and look at others and you'll see the ridiculous opinions so many Mayo people appear to have of their prospects. What was aimed at you was your 'bitter Galway supporters comment'. We have nothing to be bitter about in contrast to the reaction of so many Mayo people in '98 and '01 - all down to JO'M, Mayo paved the way, etc.
The word you were looking for was 'statistics'. No there aren't any, but if you'd been on this site long enough and seen the reaction to Mayo fans like Ballboy in particular and Mayo in general it wasn't positive. I'll agree with your last comment though!

Ok, thats a fair point, some supporters do have ridiculous opinions of their counties prospects and mayo are no different. "Summer supporters" in all counties loose the head and fail to see their own counties obvious weaknesses! Like it or not, there are bitter supporters in both mayo and galway who would rather see any other team winning that each other...thats what serious rivarly does. I've seen comments by ballboy and can see why people are annoyed by "summer supporters" such as himself.
