Sean Cavanagh has said that he thought it was a bit harsh, if that was the case then why did he go down holding his face initially - surely he is contradicting his actions by what he is saying? irlande (Fermanagh) - Posts: 535 - 22/06/2009 19:38:43 319822 Link 0 |
Because he did not want the player to be banned but he was struck from behind .And let me say this he is no diver. Dellboypolecat (Tyrone) - Posts: 15069 - 22/06/2009 19:43:28 319830 Link 0 |

if you get a whack in the Boatrace, Intentional or not, your first instinct is to cover your face to prevent further injury. williewentwell (Tyrone) - Posts: 1712 - 22/06/2009 19:48:52 319837 Link 0 |

Toma007 where you ever dumped by a Tyrone girl ? or have you always been bitter? williewentwell (Tyrone) - Posts: 1712 - 22/06/2009 19:51:00 319842 Link 0 |
Think Cavanagh was frustrated that G O Kane put the shackles on him early and wouldn't let him into the game, it was brilliant defensively however it meant O Kane couldn't do his usual attacking role. I don't know if the straight red will be appealed or not as this means he misses his next game which is harsh. But stuff happens. Niamh (Derry) - Posts: 2397 - 22/06/2009 19:51:53 319844 Link 0 |

Tyrone posters have tunnel vision when it comes to an incident involving one of their own. irlande (Fermanagh) - Posts: 535 - 22/06/2009 20:57:52 319917 Link 0 |
Dellboy, you talk some rubbish but that takes the biscuit. So to mark a man now is stopping a team playing football. So why did Gormely play in front of his back 2? To stop Derry playing football? And for god sake, Cavanagh over reacted, be a man and admit it. And your right that is mcguckian, the same man who didnt react (i.e. go down and hold his head) when freeman put his head into him. Again Dellboy I will ask for an example, it's easy to come out with a statement like that but you have absolutely nothing to back it up with. Just like every other one of your 5000 odd posts, you just come out with a self-righteous statement with nothing to back it up. Cone on Dellboy, as Joe Brolly would say, put some meat on the bones.
