Limerick hurlers to break our hearts in Wexford once again and to continue 'Unlimited Heartbreak' the inside story of Limerick Hurling.

Is the football definately first? Even though Limerick requested an early throw in 2 weeks ago? Know Roscommon have a fine distance to travel aswell but seems a bit unfair. Thought times were not going to be confirmed until tomorrow???

Think the football could affect the limerick crowd. Especially if they try and bump up tickets prices.

Its a right pain if throw in is at 7,and an even bigger pain if they bump up the ticket prices because its a double header,it'll put a lot of people off making the 6 hour round trip.

3 o'clock throw in for the football so hurling at 5. Nothing on ticket prices yet

Great chance for Limerick to progress further if they can get over Wexford on Sat @ 5pm - not on live on either TV3 or RTE.
Teams who have played one another in previous rounds cannot meet until All Ireland Semi's. If Galway beat Clare (which a lot of people would presume) then Galway play Cork in Phase 3, leaving, if we win, Limerick to play Laois. Overcome that and you play Dublin or losers Tipp/Wat. If Waterford lose then we have to play Dublin in an All Ireland Q-Final.

So if we beat Wexford, all going well, we play Laois and Dublin to get to an All-Ireland Semi final - you would have taken that at any stage during the year. It's up to the players now so go out and perform and take a leaf out of the footballers book last Sunday and give us something to shout about this summer!

Hurleycarrier that is excellent. THat was the draw you would hoep for. I know it wont be easy but Wexford, Laois, Dublin to an all-ireland semi. It could be alot harder.

Settle lads, Settle. we might and only might get past wexford. Laois no problems but based on Dublins performance on sunday they would wipe the field with us. Fit, physical and very skillful. From what I saw they are at least 10-15% better team than us. Only an opinion and its only based on what I have seen so far. But yes the easier side of the draw.

It's time to put this bad run with the Yellow Belly's to bed . We are Limerick with a massive hurling tradition and we will win this Saturday evening . WE have to believe in all of our team . We are more than capable . To any of the players who may read this I say to BELIEVE in your team mates and fight to the last and we will bring honesty and pride back into ourselves . We must for once and for all throw away this shroud of negativity about ourselves . We are skillful enough . We are fit enough . We are strong enough and by Christ do we deserve it . The hunger is there . We are truly stavred . Get the spirit of winning about ypourselves . Sit down with oneanother before Sat and speak confidently to eachother about winning . These are the days and now is the time to start , no go do it .

Luimneach Abú .

am wat tradition when is it ya won an allireland since 73 for god sake . if your players take the field wit your mind set . wexford will wipe the floor wit ye . the truth is both team s are very even , wit home advantage plus the footballers playin at home should be a big crowd there to drive wexford over the line .

Re:gusseraneman

Limerick have as much hurling tradition as Cork, Tipp or Kilkenny. Just because we have not achieved the same levels of success as they have gives you no right to question our passion and commiment to hurling. Perhaps you should keep your arrogant comments until Saturday night. Truth of the matter is Limerick's biggest opposition is there lack of confidence. If we played to our full potential (which we haven't since 2007) then I would have no doubt in my mind the outcome of the match.

" If your players take to the field with your mindset Wexford will wipe the floor with ye "

Will you kindly explain to me what exactly you mean by that statement ?
