Mayo against Roscommon-I am a bit nervous about this one.

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

My heart says Roscommon but my head says Mayo. I saw Mayo play New York. Roscommon is much better than NY of course.
But NY went ahead of Mayo by six points early and then Mayo breezed by them and won by 15 points. I was impressed how effortlessly
Mayo kicked up their offense a few notches.
Perhaps if Roscommon's defense can hold the line, they have a good chance.

Where's all the great Mayo supporters in Castlebar today, empty stadium, and why are they increasing the capacity to 40,000 when they can't even fill what they have.

12 mins gone Mayo 2-04 Roscommon 0-0. On the evidence so far Roscommon are definately out on their own as worst team of the year so far.

CORRECTION:

24 mins gone, Mayo 3-08 Roscommon 0-01; Roscommon ARE the worst team I have seen this year by a country mile. They are absolutely dreadful.

The stadium isnt finished, the capacity was reduced to 25,000 for health and saftey reasons, there was 15,000 at the game, bout 13,000 of those were Mayo fans not a lot of Rossies travelled which isnt the norm you'd normally get 10-13 thousand of them at a Mayo game, poor attendance all the same, i suppose i cant complain i watched it at home myself. Saturday day matches at 5 dont work i think i remember the last time we played the rossies a few years ago at Mchale park on a sunday in the semi's there was 35,000 there

Your a sunshine fan so Paddy, Ive little time for so called fans who cant get off there armchair to go and support their county. Only if you have a very excuse would i understand it. Your giving your opinion on here the whole time but you dont go to games.

No its Bonfire night, the local club is putting together a bonfire and monster BBQ to raise money to get a difiberlator, so i was helping getting ready for that. Its a reasonable excuse

Says the sage from Monaghan. Your lot's performances to-date do nothing positive for the GAA. Bring back Nudie Hughes..

Sligonian it can be tough for some peoply like paddyogall to get the time to travel to matches!!!! I cant see ur reasoning as most mayo supporters will be able to get to see their beloved county in action 4-5-6-7 times a year where as ur county twice if lucky(apart from the time ye fluked it when connacht football (ie) mayo and galway were rebuilding!!!
