How can he pick Eddie Hoare when the guy is injured?

Of course Galway cant pick Eddie Hoare.. I was referring to next years league and championship.. They are some players that should be looked at next year. Greg Rogan is not a midfielder,he is only filling in for Hoare but he is a good forward and should get a chance next year even if its in the FBD league,we need to experiment with some club players...

So Nicky is back, Big Deal! Another overated forward to add to the collection in my opinion. If we had found a midfielder I might get excited.

I couldn't agree with you more barn owl. Dead right. Over rated, over hyped, etc, etc. We need a dominant midfielder!

Go back to sleep Barnowl94, now you know why Nicky is overrated scoring 8 points in a Connacht final isnt bad now is it!!

Yup, I've a reply, no problem at all. One swallow doesn't make a summer and going out playing against Mayo in a Connaught final with a point to prove about being axed is serious incentive. It was only one match. He has to keep it up game in, game out as much as he can for a few seasons at county level to prove that he's a top player and not over hyped and over rated. If you want to be surgical about it he was on the weakest mayo defender, he should have passed the ball back to P.J for a goal chance when he took one of the points. Another goal chance went a begging when he fluffed a ball from P.J while in on goal. His tackling and work rate need to improve. But he did get scores the last day and played a great game from a scorer's point of view.

If Nicky were a team player Galway would have beaten Mayo last Sunday. Pity he didn't stay dropped.

If Nicky was a ''team player'' we would have scored less... (and in turn, lost by more)

Sorry Burca, if he had passed the ball more often, to players in better positions, we would have had more scores and won! Gaelic Football is a TEAM game. I thought Seán Armstrong played his socks off for the team last Sunday as Mattie Clancy always does. Good Luck to everyone today. Hope the rain holds off.

Starie175 and Maryward, If you want my reply look at the Donegal match! Fair enough he played well against Mayo but he did fluff 2 goal chances and miss a crucial free. Not blaming him alone I believe all our forwards are overated at the moment.
