Foe me it has to the Noctors on Sheriff street, you always get a warm welcome and a smile when you go in there, besides that you cant beat the pubs on Dorset street for the match days

Hmm, good thread. I've ones for Kerry and Dublin. Dublin first;

For matches it would be The Hill 16 - especially Dublin v Kerry. Also went to The Findlater once when Dublin were playing and me in my Kerry jersey - some craic.

Otherwise, it'd be Kehoe's on South Anne Street, Mulligans on Poolebeg Street or O' Donoghue's on Merrion Row. I like my jar of porter.

Kerry;

You cannot, I state cannot, beat The Shanty in Ballyfinnane. Especially on a Sunday evening when The Foggy Dew are playing. Any of the Kerry lads out there ever been to it? It's the one in the middle of nowhere (between Firies and Tralee) with a scarecrow's pants and wellies upside down in a barrel outside the front door, the roof's made out of corrigated iron, the smoking area is the hayshed out the back and the men's urinals is an old copper bath tub with a sheet of corrigated iron down the middle. But the pints of plain are unrivalled!

Quite a few - McDaids just off Grafton Street, Peters Pub in the same vicinity, always great talent in the Market Bar off Georges Street & the Oarsman in Ringsend.

MATT WELDONS...are u havin a laugh!! It's a nice pub but no atmosphere in there at all! I'd be a Hairy Lemon, Flannerys or Brogans man. 3 very different pubs but good craic in all of them!!

The Celt talbot street for afternoon or early evening drinking. A lot of tourists in it at night.

Too many to chose from. I think it was called the Willows on parnell St. On the corner of Parnell and Marlborough St. opposite that Eircom building. Closed now. Other than that, Mulligans, and anywhere on Camden St.
