Sambo and Woody dont get the credit they deserve. Any hurler that has played under their management will agree that they are great trainers and motivators. It will take time for the youngsters of the team to develop, maybe a tear or two. All this talk of jingo had done well and should have been kept in is rubbish. Arsene wenger could have won an all ireland B with antrim! Some people just dont know what they are talking about on this site. aMcC (Antrim) - Posts: 7 - 28/07/2009 11:26:21 365784 Link 0 |
Right enough the team looked sooooo motivated on Saturday and against Laois and Dublin and Carlow and not forgetting the giants of Westmeath as well. takeyourpoint (Antrim) - Posts: 8 - 28/07/2009 11:58:37 365850 Link 0 |

Okay - anyone know how the U21s are going? I'm suspicious that there may actually have been method in Sambo and Woodys madness this year. Everyone will expect Kilkenny to give us an awful tanking next weekend - but look at the team sheet - McManus, Graffin, Donnelly, CJ, McCloskey, O'Connell etc. A team backboned by guys with solid senior experience. Surely they will at least puts the Cats under pressure. pearsesabu (Antrim) - Posts: 663 - 15/08/2009 09:19:57 393048 Link 0 |

Another hammering for Antrim this year. Will new management be enough to save hurling in this county? saffron21 (Antrim) - Posts: 138 - 22/08/2009 18:59:16 400061 Link 0 |
I think we need outside help but we're not going to ask for it. Unfortunately we're going to be faced with more of the same. pearsesabu (Antrim) - Posts: 663 - 23/08/2009 10:05:58 400354 Link 0 |
Good riddance . - I wish the person/persons that appointed them would follow suit. Total disgrace with a disgraceful agenda. HongKongPhooey (Antrim) - Posts: 93 - 24/08/2009 15:21:03 402248 Link 0 |

lets be honest the minor loss is more to do with the crap coaches that are put in place of development squads than the lack of quality players ronan8 (Antrim) - Posts: 5 - 01/09/2009 00:15:06 411074 Link 0 |
Why was jingo sacked in the first place did everything he could have in his first year to be brushed aside? kdog15 (Antrim) - Posts: 197 - 13/10/2009 10:28:25 452730 Link 0 |
names are everything in antrim .. thats why they brought the likes of Cj onto the panel against dublin .. the county should get some young talent onto the senior pannel for some experiance nighthawk (Antrim) - Posts: 23 - 13/10/2009 23:13:06 453738 Link 0 |
