i think claregalway have what it takes to beat corofin but will they perform to their ability is the question..corofins experience to shade it i think but it will be close..

Why does everyone assume Corofin ,claregalway or Monivea to win games ,what about the one team left with them Ballinasloe, why would they be ruled out,its downrite pigheaded, they are a good side have won U16 Leauge and championship the last two years, going well at training from what i hear, they have a good manager and trainer .RESPECT

tony_melia..im talking about the core of this team that went all the way and won the minor championship last year..the midfield is the same, centre back is the same, full forward the same and many of the lads down the wings e.g eanna langan, enda fleming, niall collins are all under age again..thats the experience im talking about..and the experience of beating clregalway narrowly down through the years also in many feile and u16 finals and matches..none of these claregalway lads hae ever played in a north board minor final never mind a county!!

my dog

corofin have beat claregalway down through the years in this age?..correct me if im wrong but i believe claregalway have beat corofin in every game theyve played each other except the feile final which corofin won by a point and still claregalway beatlater on that year twice! maybe corofins experience my be a help but claregalway have more a physoligical edge after beat corofin everytime except once.

Predictions for the two north semi's!
Corofin to win by 5 v Claregalway!
B'sloe to win a tight encounter with Monivea by 1 or 2.
Corofin to win final but not by a landslide which many wil be predicting, anything can happen in a final.

Hard luck Claregalway (again). Will we ever win it??Good game of football though , thought Claregalway Manager and Selectors could have made quicker changes? Still well done Corofin. Very wet and such high scoring was a good return in the conditions. Does this make Corofin favourites.

I have to agree with hillson on this one,but futhermore every game corofin, claregalway and tuam for that matter seem to play there is always a huge bias towards them,i know that they have good footballing teams particularly at minor level but you get lads bloging on these forums reading way too much into the the likes of corofin and claregalway where the so called "grassroots" or "home" of football apparently is in the county. From a neutral point of view I hope Ballinasloe go all the way in the championship because apparently they have NO HOPE according to this forum,so dont write them off like Tuam did and they warrant the same respect as your corofins or claregalways but maybe thats asking too much.

Id love to see the winners of Monivea v Ballinasloe go all the way, it would do a power for either club if they could win a minor A.
How strong are either club though, Ballinasloe beat a well fancied Tuam side. Were they well fancied on merit or because they were Tuam? Does this Corofin team provide any forwards that will go into the senior team in the next couple of years?

Result from North Board minor semi final Monivea 1-15 , Ballinasloe 2-7,Monivea were 1-11 to 1-1 up at half time, poor performance by the town, and the refree was an utter joke, game played in Monivea which didnt help,Heard Ballinasloe have 12 lads minor again next year, also they have 14 which can kick frees and points from any angle and any distance,Good luck to Monevia who play Corofin in final

Monivea abbey, what a display against Ballinasloe! I can see them winning county this year. Corafin will be hard opponants but if they play like they did this evening in the first half they have a great chance.
