Well boys down to the nitty gritty this weekend. Here's my predictions. naomh_anna4eva (Galway) - Posts: 41 - 10/08/2009 19:17:15 386691 Link 0 |
Lettermore,Carna,Oughterard and dunmore to be 4 semi finalists.Oranmore very poor first round but might have changed their fortunes with tough win over monivea but still have to say lettermore will be too strong.Carna to beat James by few points james too young and not enough expierence, if Carna can produce the football they did in comortas against dingle it will be a easy victory, alot of their players coming good at the right time.Oughterard to beat kilconly but will be very close encounter coady, clancy and reilly will pull them through.Dont kno much about st.kerills but goin on dunmores past i think they should win. uimhir99 (Galway) - Posts: 9 - 11/08/2009 00:23:47 387146 Link 0 |

Is it true that Carna are out of the championship? carnaman (Galway) - Posts: 2 - 16/08/2009 22:56:15 393993 Link 0 |
carna and kilconly beaten out the gate by far superior opponents, kilconly prob let game pass by them and didn't get goin till it was far to late, but carna/cashel were never at the race's,season over for both teams. otto (Galway) - Posts: 189 - 17/08/2009 00:19:35 394056 Link 0 |

disapointing to se Carna go out,it seems the management left Justin Mc Carthy in the halfpenny place with confused tactics. How are carna fixed in the league safe? carnaman (Galway) - Posts: 2 - 17/08/2009 18:07:57 394765 Link 0 |
I'm not an expert on tactics but it looked like Carna never got going yesterday. I thought Pat O'Hanlon would have them ready for it. stjamesfan (Galway) - Posts: 156 - 17/08/2009 20:35:49 394872 Link 0 |
Carnaman, how can you comment on tactics if you werent there, have u an axe to grind at home??? Carna never got going full stop. James raised there game and will go up if they avoid Oughterard. Oughterard will be hard to beat, physically man for man lettermore could do it, dunmore no chance. Matthew Clancy should have been redcarded yesterday. mise (Galway) - Posts: 144 - 17/08/2009 23:22:25 395095 Link 0 |

I fancy James in the Final, Lettermore and Oughterard is a tough one to call, think itll come down to giving away silly frees and conditions on the day. Qoughterard by a point maybe? MickeyNedJnr (Galway) - Posts: 5 - 19/08/2009 10:31:54 396748 Link 0 |
Yeah it looks like St James's will make it to the final alright,i expect them to beat Dunmore by a few points or so.The second semi final between Leitir Mor agus Uactarard is much harder to predict,i heard that Oranmore should have beaten Leitir Mor last Saturday, don't know if that was the case or not, maybe somebody will tell me,as for Uactar Ard if they can get some of the players back from the States, they will be hard to beat, apparently Kilconly were not great last Sunday, and were beaten easy enough by them. reteoir (Galway) - Posts: 197 - 19/08/2009 16:43:18 397295 Link 0 |
