St. James' are playing Kilconly on the weekend of 13th/14th June. That was confirmed last night at the draw. The impression I got was that all the other games that need to catch up will be on that weekend and that St. Kerril's, Monivea/Abbey, Clonbur and Caherlistrane won't be playing that weekend but they know what matches to go to; to see their next opponents. stjamesfan (Galway) - Posts: 156 - 03/06/2009 10:28:03 300382 Link 0 |
The Jimmies have to be favourites; only ones not affected by the exodus to America and would appear to have a fully fit squad!!! t.h (Galway) - Posts: 4 - 03/06/2009 20:05:19 301101 Link 0 |

skittles/ are they the bookies odds or your own take on it? prob not a million miles out in general but ough and leitir mor seem a bit shortpriced at this stage. otto (Galway) - Posts: 189 - 10/06/2009 14:51:28 307323 Link 0 |
they are mulhollands prices. Oughterard are a bit short priced considering half their team has left for USA this week. Donmore are crazy at 8-1, more like 20-1. Prices are not a true reflection of current form for me. skittles (Galway) - Posts: 168 - 10/06/2009 21:41:10 307725 Link 0 |

St. James' are in great form at the moment. The 3 players they have on the Galway Minor Team and 1 on the Galway Senior Team are all playing good football. There is a few more young lads after breaking through onto the first 15. They have nobody going away for the summer except for one lad who is not around next weekend. Some of the subs they have would walk onto other Intermediate Teams. I have to admit they could do with more scoring forwards but their are too many Daddy's looking after the team. They are still managing about 2-15 a game. Besides all the above they still have not played a match where they really had to gig deep to win. The League means nothing and Caherlistrane Intermediates were poor. This weekends match v Kilconly will see if i am right or wrong. I wouldn't rate Leitir Móir this year. alfie (Galway) - Posts: 309 - 11/06/2009 10:30:19 307991 Link 0 |
