I like Mayo but don't love them and I don't know any Galway Man who would want to wear the Green & Red. It is true that some Galway People love Mayo so much they built a road called the Curragh Line so the Mayo people could go home from Galway at weekends. Do they go home? No. So we use it to go up and down to Westport; a good spot alright. Love the food in O'Malley's and the pint in Hogans. They will win Connaught this year too. alfie (Galway) - Posts: 309 - 26/05/2009 23:54:24 295003 Link 0 |

I like most things Mayo; Hardy Bucks, Alan Dillon and many of the players, Mountains, the Delphi Centre when I was in TY, insane 21sts in Swinford years ago, goin to Westport with the family when I was wee... But man oh man...they have a track record of annoying posters on these boards and that will always be etched into my brain when I hear the word Mayo on the breeze!! spudenator (Laois) - Posts: 1052 - 27/05/2009 13:20:05 295415 Link 0 |
