Maynooth had a bad day but still managed to win against 1 of their main rivals for the championship surely thats a good sign? I dont wana know what theyll be like when they click as a unit!

i think maynooth were just outplayed , i dont think its a case of them playing bad.. i certainly wouldnt think athy would be affraid to play maynooth again. i think maynooth would be very very wary that they scraped it against em and mite not be so lucky next time

watching it from a neutral position maynooth didnt have one player that stood out whereas athy had a few in feely so if maynooth play well with a few of their players standing out athy will be nowhere near able to match them! Just heard that Maynooth hammered Moorefield tonight so theyre definetly through now i woudnt wana b paired against them ill say that much!

Maynooth very impressive last night have to be favourites now, strong in every department. Keeper has some kick out.
The result between Balyna and Towers is not a foregone conclusion as Balyna seem to have serious injury problems this year, but if they do win then Athy will also need to win to survive, which I believe they should do. Can anyone tell me are the 1/4 finals open draw ??

even though clane are unbeaten.. they still dont have a hope of winning! they have no real impact players and the forwards arent good enough!.. morrefield and maynooth are the strongest out there

I agree wit gaa_5 Clane lack strength in depth and will be caught out against decent oposition while Maynooth when they play poorly can still win. I firmly believe now the championship will be won by Nass Moorefield or Maynooth depending on the quarter final draw.

im tellin ya right here right now maynooth will win championship as much as it pains me to say it it! they hav best overall squad! a sturdy spine through the team right from goalkeeper! fahey, foxe, and others will make difference when push comes to shove! i cant see any other team in kildare coumin anywhere near close to them on their day! quality side and if they are beaten by any other team itll b a miracle!

Shergar45, you really need to get down off your high horse and come to reality,i dont think any team will fear maynooth come the q/f draw...Against Athy its not that they didnt click its more that athy outplayed them for large periods in the game and when the pressure came on players like fahey and fox were nowher to be seen...Prove me wrong Shergar45
