good player alright, plays for kildare u17's. His heart lies with soccer tho and is going to miss some of the minor championship i think. sexyface (Kildare) - Posts: 175 - 23/07/2009 12:38:46 358215 Link 0 |

at the start of the year lads i had to admit i fancied Clane to go well, but my new favourites for the minor are Balyna, with the likes of cribbin and hurley playing well they will take some stopping. maynooth look to be talking themselves up way to much. athy could be dark horses!! cilldara29 (Offaly) - Posts: 26 - 11/08/2009 11:32:19 387453 Link 0 |
I feel that we have a serious chance at the title this year. I think that we will beat Maynooth handily tonight as we have too much fire power for them. This will put is in the perfect position to go through to the 1/4 final. Balyna are not a real team but an amalgamation and will divide up when the pressure is put on and the two Newbridge clubs are very weak this year. This in my opinion is shaping up to be our year. nas_na_ri (Kildare) - Posts: 6 - 11/08/2009 14:25:20 387782 Link 0 |
From what i no both the clane-moorefield and celbridge-balyna were draws. Also heard naas bet maynooth by a point scored in the last minute. Also heard there was a huge fight afterwards. Could anyone shed some light on what really happened, who started it? Does anyone know the rest of the results? Mr.Efficient (Kildare) - Posts: 27 - 12/08/2009 00:10:38 388898 Link 0 |

im a naas man myself and was disgraced at some of the behaviour of OUR supporter at tonights very entertaining game. very good game that didnt deserve a loser but afterward an altercations afterwards that involved BOTH supporter and maynooth players. supposeldy naas supporters started this outbreak though that got out of control. it marred a fine footballing spectacle. i believe maynooth could stil have a big say in minor championship 09 daboyz (Kildare) - Posts: 24 - 12/08/2009 01:52:54 388965 Link 0 |
Excellent game in Celbridge and we just edged it with a point in teh last kick of the game. The fight was not between players but spectators. Stupid stuff from grown men from both sides who should know better. It was unfortunate that the Maynooth team were coming off the field at the time that it was kicking off. nas_na_ri (Kildare) - Posts: 6 - 12/08/2009 08:05:43 389001 Link 0 |
i was at thw maynooth v naas game!!!taught it was a brilliant match to watch felt the referee was very on the naas side with alot of soft frees whick were the difference in the end!!! as regards to the fight afterwards a naas man struck a maynooth supporter first and the players cannot be blames for gettin involved as the could see there parents were in the middle of it!!spoiled a good game cromabu (Kildare) - Posts: 20 - 12/08/2009 10:10:43 389071 Link 0 |
