God Niamh you're changing your predicition all the time! ;-)

I'll stick by my original prediction, us by 2! Monaghan to win by one to three points is 3-1 folks, lump on! :p

Mid-mon-man, we backed a draw in 70 minutes at 15/2. Extra time does not count in the bet. If its a draw after 70 mins then i would fancy Monaghan in extra time !!

I know MMM I do! It's hard to tell but.

Cavan Slasher, i disagree if it goes to Extra time it'll suit Derry better as they have more on the bench than Monaghan.

Barring any injuries Niamh our boys will be able to last the extra time after this great training they get under McElkennon! :p
In all seriousness, it's the first round of the championship, that would be a more important factor later in the championship, we shouldn't need too much off the bench hopefully. JP Mone on if needed in defence and Ronaghan will no doubt be put on the square in the second half at some point. Throw on Hanratty to win a few frees and perhaps McGuigan at half-back or half-forward, I'd be happy enough.
Anyway, as I say I reckon it'll be decided within the normal time.

289149 Like all games in the this province, I expect a match of free flowing, open football devoid of fouls, frees and cards. Anything less than twenty points EACH from both teams would have to be considered a big disappointment. I, especially, hope that it won't turn out to be like your average Leinster Championship game where there is all this fouling, pulling, pushing, shoving, hitting, punching, kicking, tripping, elbowing, kneeing, headbutting and general bad will to opposition players.

I think I'll go for:

Derry 4-26
Monaghan 2-30

In a highly entertaining game of football played in the tradition that all Ulster games are played in.

Am I the greatest poster on here or what? I'm great at the old fortune telling!
