my cousin is from kildare and even i know its leixlip and confey... or as he calls them, the hillers and the farenders!

I dont think there is anything better than taking an hour journey on a bus, then go out and lashing Confey off the field in football. For me they are the ones you really want to beat.

JTB v Carbury! JTB pitch is actually in the carbury parish. in the 80's you had the younger of the farrell brothers playin for JTB with two others with carbury (one manager and one playing). The two teams used to knock lumps out of each other.
Nowadays the younger lads get on well much to the disgust of the old timers. Still when they play it draws a big crowd with lots of passion.

Rathangan and Ellistown is a big local derby and for me is the most intense as they are in the same parish with brothers lining out against each other a lot of the time etc..
