There are a couple that spring to mind...Celbridge v Ardclough, ask anyone and they will tell you that one hates the other. Ardclough v Coill Dubh, never much between them, probably only the depth of a hurl if there is still one left intact by the end of the game to measure. How about Leixlip and Confey, only divided by a couple of miles geographically, plenty of same town rivalry.

Confey, Celbridge , kilcock. It has to be Celbridge out of all these though.

Well this is a tough one, on the football front Castledermot,Nurney,Rheban, Castlemittchill, basically anyone in around south kildare!!! On the Hurling front...Leixlip, Naas etc... But a bit of rivarly is good... why would you play GAA without it???

castledermot have popped up alot because they arent exactly clean and players from other teams are always wanting to play them for a little pay back.

South Kildare derbies don't have as much bite as north Kildare derbies. The likes of Clane v Kilcock , Maynooth v kilcock , Confey v leixlip, maynooth v Confey are the best in the county.

god daytona11 id be the exact opposite in my option. apart from confey and leixlip match i think the north county team darbies are tame affairs.

a grange v nurney or athy v reban match would be a fierce heated affair

in all fairness,on the football front anyway,i wouldn't expect rheban to put up much of a fight against athy...
likewise its usually the case that leixlip operate in Div 1 while confey are Div 2
