Castlerahan beat lacken tonight. Just to correct above, the score in the ramor mullahoran game was 2-14 to 0-21, hell of a match and some unbelievable performances from both sets of players. Castlerahan game was good enough. Castlerahan looked a bit sluggish, but got going towards the end as lacken tired.

castlerahan beat lacken by a point they were down by 5 with 8 mins to go but showed great fighting spirit to claw their way back. st finbars beat knockbride after evtra time. so the semis are lavey v drumalee and castlerahan v finbars

in response to the comment above me.i was at the castlerahan v lacken match last night in ballyjamesduff.catslerahan were lucky to come out with a victory.lacken were on top during the whole game but seemed to tire off towards the end an castlerahan got 2 handy goals.young flanninan was kept under control and castlerahan did'nt really have any other danger forward.on the other hand lacken ran at the castlerahan defence an totally opened them up with niall mc kirenan and fergal brady destroyin them inside.in my opinion lavey will be the team to beat this year an they will be very hard to stop if duke,conroy and tierney are on form.

Enda Flanagan kicked 1-2 or 3 from play. The lad is only 15 and him roasting minor full backs. Castlerahan only got going in the last 10 mins. But I think it wil be hard to stop them from winning the div 2 title

sack yes castlerahan were lucky but they deserved their victory as they never gave up. you say flanagan was kept under control yet he scored 1-3 from play please explain this. the antics of some of the lacken players like not shaking hands after the game and show boating while they were winning especially mckiernan was not good to look at. the ref did not help castlerahan either and the point he gave lacken that was at least a yard wide and everyone else at the game could clearly see it , these things should not be happening. lavey i believe are still the team to beat especially with the football that karl duke is playing at the moment

I heard that Knockbride and St.Finbarrs have to play again as St.Finbarrs signed the teamsheet in English and not Irish. As a neutral, I think it is a disgrace as St.Finbarrs won the match fairly. I hope St.Finbarrs beat them when its played as it shows Knockbride are sore losers.

I hope St.Finbarrs beat them when its played. Hard to believe a club would go and use a signature on a team sheet as a basis for replaying a match. I'm not involved in either club, but will be routing for St. Finbarrs in this one.

Div 1: kilann gaels .. have added strong players wit the shercock players.
Div 2: lavey .. wil just be 2 strong all over 4 de teams in the division.
Div 3: this is very tight. everyone is saying s gaels but killinkere were in the league final and they knocked out gowna. Ballinagh could be the dark horses of this championship because they only lost to killinkere by a few points in the league and have beaten s gaels before.
Div 4: killdallon.. this is not as tight as every1 said they have hammered every1 in the div and they only lost de league final by 4 pts although there full forward is inconsistent. cornafean wont have enough fire power to win this one.

Ballinagh never beat shannon gaels,S gaels wil win it out
And in al fairness to cornafean we played a lot better against them than we did against kildalon an still only beat them by 6 points in the semi and only beat them by 10 in the league whilst we played average against kildalon we beat them by 4 points and then 17+points in the league
The only difference between the teams in cornafeans forward line who are weak,they only really have 2 good forwards,dat geoghan lad or sumtin like that and the sheridan lad.

The game is being replayed because,when the normal game ended knockbride were told they forfeit the game if they walk off the field! Even though extra time is not allowed to be played at a home venue from under 16 up,never mind in the dark! Another game in the north was replayed in the same circumstances 2 years ago. sure you might as well have had 8 candles lit on the edge of the field as them lights! never mind this bull about english and irish,the county board offered kb the chance to throw st.finbarrs out altogether so people should quit spreading stupid rumours.
