28 in out of 55!

27 to go - though I think we may have lost a few of these! As I've said if you miss this weekend you're a goner I reckon. Get them in before 6 tomorrow please! Ta.

Right about 33 in so far - getting there! Keep 'em coming!

Just one correction on last week. One of our players inadvertently sent his prediction to the Hurling Tipster Competition mailbox - an easy mistake to make as Galway Mayo hurling finals in Connaught are regular events (!!!). I have now credited the man with 2 points following confirmation of the timing of the post from my esteemed Marooned East colleague! To save the player further embarrassment I will not divulge his identity.

ps OK Ballbhoy - you got your 2 points lad!

Sorry ColinG - closed it off a few weeks ago. We're into Week 11 now - matches 29 to 38 with only 15 (barring replays) after this - so no point in joining now. But you can look at all the genuises selections on here and see how you would've fared. Might do it again next year if the money is right :-) Regards, JC

First - thanks for all your help this week in getting your predictions in early. Can really feel the Championship taking off now - there's a buzz in the air! Selections will be posted immediately after this (as there is a limit on characters allowed - dunno what way there are gonna look when published!) with a little synopsis below for those who like list-type things!!!!! There are a number of same selections (Stato gone mad on a boring Thursday night) with one selection shared by 5 players and another shared by 4 players - so a lot of cogging going on!!! There are 2 groups of 3 players with the same 10 selections and 2 groups of 2 with the same 10! Trust me!

Monaghan v Derry: How the Farney star has fallen among you! Predominant vote is for a Derry win with a good few draws thrown in. Some still fancy the home side including me!

Tipperary v Westmeath: Only one brave soul going against Westmeath - Northwestisbest - otherwise its all away wins!

Donegal v Roscommon: The only unanimous selection with everyone banking on a home win (I have excluded them on listing to try and saves space). Can the men from the NW handle the red-hot favs tag - I think so!

Kildare v Cavan: Interesting tie with most opting for a home win. Some reckon a draw with a good few fancying the Breffni men to extend their interest in the Champo. Could it be Geezer's last stand?

Limerick v Meath: The Treaty county's home advantage and excellent performance against Cork hasn't swayed ye much with most opting for a victory for the Royals. A handful favour the home side and a few opt for the draw. Is Coyler's job on the line?

Longford v Laois: Home advantage for Longford has not convinced many with an away win the majority call here too. Again a few draws predicted with some opting for Luke Dempsey's men!

Louth v Tyrone: Overwhelming support for the Red Hand's visit to Drogheda (including Niamh!) to take on the Wee County. Only 3 dissenting voices with GMG the sole player to favour a draw.

Offaly v Down: Majority vote for the Mourne men but some reckon the Faithful will follow the hurlers lead and cause an upset. The draw also has support from MightyCelts and Tomas.

Dublin v Wexford: Apart from 7 players the rest see it as a dose of the Blues for the Yellow Bellies next Sunday. Surprisingly only GoalsWinGames has gone for the draw!

Armagh v Fermanagh: Majority support for the Orchard but a fair level of support for the Erne Men too. Considering the relative closeness of the vote its again a bit of a surprise that only Rich and Northwestisbest see it ending level.

So there you have it! Please check your selections carefully as it is possible (believe it or not :-) ) that I could have made an error or two!

Best of Luck to All! Sky Sports can have their Super Sunday - for all us GAA fans its Scintillating Saturday and Sensational Sunday! Roll on the weekend!

If I started my own prediction league would it be alright with you for stealing your idea??

Good work Jayo. Your a fair lad for takin the time to administer this whole thing. I would say its no easy task, what with all the crazy selections coming in from everyone.

Anyway, just a note of thanks to you for doing it. It provided a good outlet to see how good people REALLY are at forecasting the winners/losers, without actually spending a fortune in the bookies to do it.

And i see it has also been to your benefit in picking up a bit of interest from the fairer sex (Niamh - Garters and all that):-)

ColinG - no problem there but there are only 15 games left (not incl replays after today). Posted you a longer reply on this last night but it didn't get published for some reason.

Well rather than sort it all out the marathon weekend has tightened things up considerably! There were a few clues in my synopsis - some of which I didn't take myself :-(.

Four players scored 16 - none of them had the draw - Prof. Carl Jung, Legend92, S Man and Letterkennyman - well done. Well done too to Rich Dublin and Northwestisbest the only 2 to call the Ulster final correctly.

Freddy15 had a mini disaster scoring only 8 and we now have 8 players on 52 and 6 on 50! In the event of a tie the largest brown envelope will decide!

Will post the 4 fixtures for next week later - dunno when the Ulster replay is yet. Please check your scores carefully and if you disagree drop me a mail. The thought struck me that if I have given someone too many points they may not pull me up for it! Nah - ye are all too honest for that - yeah?

My scoring system seems to have malfunctioned!!! A lot of people (including myself) have more points than we should! I will post corrections later. And I didn't even have a beer yesterday!

Please disregard scores posted on Sunday night - better still if Lynn Publications can remove!!!

Aha - just realised why people appear to have 2 points more than they should!!! Because of lack of space and as every player had picked Donegal (v Roscommon) the picks don't appear on HS when I posted this week's predictions but you will obviously get 2 points for it. Sorted!
