Sheep Great to be a 15yr old Granddad. I'm high as a kite now that Hibs have put us right back in the title race. Don't criticise what you obviously don't understand.

patrique,

just like your posts on GAA, your posts on soccer are all qualified with the word 'if'. Man you are a dreamer!

Not a dreamer, a realist.

IF Bohs go 750 million into debt they could win the CL.

IF the bank decides to collect the 750 million Man United owe next week, well Man United could be out of football by July.

IF cEltic and Rangers were playing in the premiership without money, they would struggle.

IF they were playing with a minimum of 40 million TV money, guaranteed to the team finishing last, well they could compete.

Finally the SPL appears, like the Irish League, to be very exciting compared to the Man United Sky league.

The Irish league went to the last day, and thanks to the "Irish Team" tonight it looks like Scotland will do the same.

celtic are not an Irish club. They are a business. The owners, most of the players and many of the major shareholders are quite happy to exploit the worldwide market potential of the IRish brand. I remember a few years ago a delegation of directors visited New York on a fact finding mission to sell the "Irish brand". This was during a difficult time to promote anything Irish in Glasgow just after the popes visit and the hunger strike. They linked up with the organsiors of the ST.Pat's parade . Unknow to them the grand marashall for that year was a leading Noraid official. Fortunately for them the word didn't filter back to the gutter press back home or they would have been torn to ribbons. The fans are different and for most they are true to the origins of the club and indeed the celtic race. However, they do have a sizable following of bigots like rangers who get a bit mixed up with Irish republicanism and west coast sectarianism. Anyone who does have an interest in scottish soccer should get themselves along to Firhill, home of Glasgow's number one club, Partick Thistle.

Looks like we have blown it, that was dire against Hibs. We are playing with 9 men every time Naylor & Samaras play. No urgency, no composure and noboby to put the ball in the net. Our lack of investment has came back to haunt us and we have spurned the opportunity to take advantage of Rangers problems this year. The failure to sign a striker is there to see every week and we over rely on McDonald. I don't blame Strachan, the board have to now answer to the fans. Rangers will win the League and get the millions that comes with automatic qualification for the Champions League. The future looks a bit gloomy and I blame the board.

Dundee Utd need a point to clinch 4th place and European Football. I genuinely believe they will get it. Of course we have to beat Hearts and the way we are playing you wouldn't put your house on that. Keep the Faith, its not over yet even though quite frankly the way we have played this year we don't deserve to win it.

It's hard to keep the faith tonight corkcelt even though we must. I have heard others around me say exactly what you are saying about all the eventualities of next week. I can see Dundee Utd taking a point but do we have the desire, class or firepower to beat Hearts? I doubt it but we must stay positive.

I think its about time we all praise the greatest football club ever to kick a football

Yes the greatest club ever to finish second in one of the worst leagues in europe.

Well done rangers, took some steel to make that comeback, obviously the best team in scotland. I think celtic are well over due a good overhaul, manager and all. I remember listening to lads a few months ago going on about how 'celtic have it all wrapped up already'. Ah well lads, pack away tri-colours until next year....
