The fight in the kilcullen v maynooth match last week was started by disgraceful behaviour from some maynooth supporters. One in particular who hit a kilcullen player and ran then ran off. Maynooth must take the blame for that incident.

I believe and have heard from a number of people at the game including nutreuls that Kilcullen came up not intending to play football but try to bully a result out of the opposition. Maynooth did what any team would do a stood their ground on their own patch.
