Well, whats the verdict on this? starts this weekend. Crookedwood to go back up to senior? The top four teams (semi finals) go up to senior b for next year. can Daltons make any impression? I'll predict Delvin, the Wood, Brigids and Turin for the semis

Think st bridgets will win this year. if they get their act together they could be really good even in senior. think the only problem is the football comes first with all their hurlers. the likes of philip sheridan, kevin connell, the faulkners, devine, gonoud and so on. i dont think they trained even once a week last year, still got to the final and should of won it!

I thnk Daltons will make an impression to be honest. Seen them last year and they've a good crop of young players.
Brigids will be an unknown entity because it all depends on what footballers are playing, although i heard they got a few back that wouldn't play last year. To be honest i don't know much about Turin and i expect the Wood to win it, the few years at senior playing against better standard of hurlers should really stand to them.

Brigids should not have won that final last year! it was a brutal match. themselves and Brownstown were ***** in the final. the best hurling was played in may ast year by all teams. it will be interesting to see what blow ins southern gaels can find livin around the town!! Yeah, I'd say the Wood would fancy themselves to win Intermediate out this year

Yea the wood might fancy themselves but remember that a lot of the lads that won the intermediate a few years ago for them are now gone and the younger lads didnt prove anything while up senior so they could be in for a shock.

Big surprise will be Cullion who i suspect will beat the Wood over the weekend.Bridgets have to be favourites althoughthe notion Faulkner and Quinn are more into football is wide of the mark.Fr Daltons could even sneak a semi place of the likes of Delvin who have too many small players
Bridgets to win with Cullion the Wood and Turin or Cullion to play senior B in 2010
southern Gaels minor champions in 07 dont seeem to have the officials to make an impression

Cullion? you're having a laugh! the Wood have been flying in league games. Southern Gaels just ever seem to get it together.

good wins for Cullion and Crookedwood. Cullion had 6/7 seniors playing. was surprised how strong Cullion were. Plunketts were disappointing.

Predicted brigids to win the champ already, have to stick wit dem now after a solid performance against the wood last nite, great win against a team just down from senior.....best of look to them in the rest of the leinster league!

Fair play to Brigids and The Wood, was at the game last night and givin the conditions they both played some good hurling. Brigids have all their "footballers" back, I think the Wood were missing a few so wouldn't read to much into the result.

looking at the result of game lst night, seems like a good result for bridgets..dunt no wat kind of a team the wood had tho..wel done to bridgets on getting to the semi final of the leinster league.they have a very young team with vry good hurlers, phillip sherdin, dermot faukner, brian slevin, damien loran, darren quinn and the gearthys..it al depends on the football tho..

from the results i see there was one shock at the weekend, clonkill seconds beating turin!! all the others seem to go along with form. Is it possible that clonkil could win both the intermediate and senior championships? Also cullion are going well this year, did anybody see their game?

Has a round of senior fixtures been played yet? could explain why Clonkill are so strong. Turin boys won't like that defeat. though half the Clonkill team are from Turin!
