If any of Cork's footballers feel a bit browned off at not being appreciated by their own (hurling fixated) supporters, they'd be made more than welcome a bit further north (in a county just above Galway!)... At least they'd get to play in front of an interested crowd for a change! Pericles (Mayo) - Posts: 2521 - 28/04/2009 19:01:15 270604 Link 0 |

Virginia, Bailieboro, Mullagh in Co. Cavan should be in Dublin with the amount of Dubs living there and the Dub shirts on the tow when Dubs playing. Kingscourt should be in Co. Meath for same reason !! Cavan_Slasher (Cavan) - Posts: 10253 - 20/05/2009 14:45:22 288996 Link 0 |
Carlow town has a distinct Laois feel to it whenever were doin well. Laois flags outside pubs, half the town wearing Laois jerseys etc. A good section of the town (Graiguecullen) is actually in Laois but the whole town goes a bit loopy if we're in a Leinster final or anything and its a great town for pints after we win. Dont know why this is as Graigue and Carlow normally despise eachother but Ive a feelin its cos a good section of East Laois use Carlow as there main town/place of business and alot of the pubs in town are owned by Laoismen and of course the fact that Carlow wont see a Leinster final for a good millenium or so...;) spudenator (Laois) - Posts: 1052 - 20/05/2009 14:50:12 289006 Link 0 |
