John Fenton's goal in 1987 V Limerick will always be mentioned, but one goal I particularly like was the goal John Mullane scored in the 2003 Munster final. Waterford were a few scores down and got a 21 yard free. With Cork players and everyone in the stadium expecting a shot at goal, Paul Flynn stood over the ball and took a short pass to Mullane who buried it after taking a couple of steps forward. The Cork defence was bemused and to be honest very few defenders would have seen it coming.

Billy Dooleys goal against Wexford (Leinster semi in 1995 I think). Johnny Dooley played it up along the sideline, John Troy flicked it behind him when going the other way and then Billy smashed it past Fitzhenry. Marty Morrisey was doing commentary and sounded like he nearly ****** himself with excitement!

Pardon my ignorance but what goal was it that made the best 20 GAA moments!? It was a ground stroke from about 30 or 40 yards that flew into the roof of the net!! Can't remember who or when but i'm sure all the hurling fans out there no the one i'm on about!!

was at the game, it was 2003 - a great goal in terms of the pressure he was under to score it and the fact that the move started way out the field, it wasn't just a ball dropped into the square. Wexford played great hurling on the day.

John Fenton's wonder strike against Limerick was a class goal. My favourite was Jimmy Barry Murphy's great over head pull against Galway in the mid 80's.

DJ Carey about 1993?? against wexford again not sure high ball to the 21 up among 3 defenders outcaught them a couple steps bang but sure you could name many more but dont think you well ever see a goal like John Fentons truly a wonder strike

rory jacob leinster semi-final 2004. last play of the game a sideline cut into the square is gathered by kilkenny back but blocked down gathered and rifled home from an impossible angle to win the game. brilliant. wexford prevented a kilkenny 6 in a row in leinster. 2-15 to 1.16 final score.
