So would I Blackspot. By the way I wasn't referring to you yesterday when I was on about people backing Johnny Murtagh blind. King of Rome ran well but I can't ever imagine him winning a big race. Although I said the same about Bankable and De Kock had him winning in Dubai on his first start. He is the world's greatest trainer by a distance.

But if the Supreme is run in 3m 57secs or less, then its all systems go for Harchibald and Sublimity. I hope and I predict the ground will be Good to Soft, Good in Places on the Tuesday/Wednesday course come next week. But I will need to see the first couple of races before committing totally.

What price three Carberrys in a line jumping the last? Paul (Harchibald), Philip (Sublimity), Nina (Jered)?

Disgraceful scenes in Turin.

David Gillick just been robbed of a place in the final after the Romanian athlete pushed him in the semi. Gillick would have won the race and all. I never seen anything like it before.

Loyal2TheRoyal 40/1 Festival Special!

Will be posted on this thread after 6pm tomorrow evening. Runs on Tuesday and on a line of form with the favourite, should be about 2/1! If there are 3 horses better than this horse in this field, then I will be very very surprised. I give it a major squeak - that is a hint as to who the likely jockey might be!!!!

Stay tuned for more.........................You don't want to miss this.

Please Note: This is not a tip, I do not have any contact with the stable to which this horse belongs. It is purely based on the videos, interviews and figures available to me - It might not even declared - but I really hope it is.

You've got to love Sir Alex. Before the first game it was all about United missing key defenders, and maybe having to play a 19 year old in his first European match. The reality was Inter started without their key defenders, and gave a first match to an 18 year old. This was not even mentioned in the press.

This week Sir Alex says "Inter will play for penalties. It is in the Italian nature".

A number of things about this,. Inter have one Italian in the team, the 18 year old, and Jose is Portuguese. And United have scored a miserable 46 goals in the premiership, well below the norm as they win 1-0 time after time.

But people still believe Alex.

It's not that surprising the Inter problems wasn't mentioned in the press Patrique, after all it is the British press. Obviously they will focus on the English team as usual. I'm sure if you read the Italian press the week before the game then they would have focused on Inter's problems and gave Man Utd's a passing mention, if any. That's the nature of it isn't it, the British papers are hardly going to focus on Inter's injuries when Man Utd have their own problems.

Incidentally, the British press are highlighting Inter's injury problems this week fairly well, maybe they read your post last week!

Ireland need to freshening up things against the Scots Ireland will probably nick that game, but I cant seen them beating wales in Cardiff as much I would love to see it think wales have the edge over Ireland.

how does anyone fancy bernard dunne's chances in his title fight this weekend? personally i could never really warm to him and he is definitely the underdog going into the fight, but it would be great to have another irish world champion!

Ireland have only lost once to Wales in the last 11 games or so at Cardiff, so they have that going for them.

Although at times Ireland appear to be static, the "new" rules can be held to blame. Certainly bar France when the mood takes them, no team looks outstanding.

Depending on who Wales select I think Ireland could finally do it. If he drops Hook and Peel, as I suspect he will, Ireland have every chance, as we can now play "attrition" rugby with the best.
