Was reading an article in the irish news about Gordon Strachan there. For any of the Bhoys out there, do you want rid of GS and if so who could realistically see taking over the reins at Celtic Park?

What do all the boxing fans out there think of Bernard Dunne's chances in his world titile fight?? Personally can't see him winning unless he's improved dramatically. He leaves himself too wide open (John Duddy is the same) and will be battered in a similar fashion to the Kiko Martinez fight.

I've started to watch it a lot in the last couple of months, saw the George St Pierre v BJ Penn fight, thought it would be a slobber knocker, but GSP just too big for Penn.

im not sure if dunne will do it but he has tightened up a bit since his knock out. back then he seemed to be buying into his own hype, swanin around the ring like prince nas with the gloves down, he needed that wake up call

As much as I'd love to see another Irish world champion, I can't see Dunne winning that fight. I just don't think he has what it takes to be a world champ, simply not good enough. The Martinez fight is bound to have woken him up and improve him, but who of note has he fought since? The title shot came as a bit of a shock and I feel it's a couple of fights too soon for Dunne.

Late piece of information has come to me.

Rocks Off in the 6.25 in Dubai. He's 12/1 with Ladbrokes at the minute and will run well. Whether thats good enough, I can't say for definite.

Thats all I'll say.

We're going for 4 in a row alright but you have to admit that last years "success" was largely due to Rangers extended run in Europe and was quite a fortuitous league victory. The two previous years league triumphs were also not due to Celtic being so good but rather Rangers being so terrible. I really think Strachan has been the luckiest Celtic manager in modern times.

A former Dublin minor hurler showed incredible bravery on Sunday as he stopped a gunfight armed only with his hurl.

Lucan Sarsfields clubman Jerome Twomey intervened heroically when the battle - allegedly between two Moldovans - broke out in the carpark of Westmanstown Sports and Social Club on Sunday afternoon.

The off-duty, Tallaght-based Garda somehow managed to disarm and arrest one of the gunmen, who was arrested, while the other was removed to hospital with gunshot wounds.

A modern day cuchulainn me thinks!

Was Snufulafugus the clubman in question? I think he was.

Strachen? Far better record than the last manager, but alas a different faith and has never been accepted by the FOOTBALL fans at Parkhead.
