Hag, as Bowe started the last game noone would be dropped, that was my original point, that it would be very unfair to drop him after having a good game at the weekend. And seeing as he is one of the form players at the minute its only right he should get his chance against NZ, I don't agree with picking players on reputation. It's not like it's a 6 nations or world cup game, let the likes of Bowe, who has been in and out of the team a few times, have a bit of a chance to show his talent when he's going well, instead of how he's been denied a decent run in the team in the past.

Also, I have to agree with the comments regarding Shane Geoghegan, such an awful tragedy and you'd have to wonder when, or even if, this murder is going to stop. Words can't describe how much I despise these type of people that did this.

Yeah, RIP Shane Geoghegan. Terrible state of affairs. You would never get tired of kicking the lads that did that.

At the moment Horgan is so much past it that Joe Calzaghe is lining him up for his next fight.

Horgan was wonderful, I have never been a Bowe fan, but at the moment he is playing well.

can't agree mid-mon,

I mean't drop from the XI team can we get this into a bit of perspective they played Canada!!

don't think it's time to tinker with the team playing NZ you need your strongest against horgan has to be in there. the question after that is who do you pick between Bowe, Kearney and Earls all equally in great form. In my opionion earls and kearney offer more, granted bowe has great positional play and is a good finisher but kearney can produce a line back or moment of magic to turn a game on its head. I don't mean to be knocking Bowe being that he's a monaghan man too he is a great player.

Shane Geoghan RIP. Just hope they catch the scum that responible for this horrific murder.

AS Michael Mc Dowell said a couple of years ago everybody that buys drugs off these criminals has blood on their hand.

Not much into Rugby but sad to see another innocent victim of crime in this country. Sincere sympathy to his family.

here's the line up so you get your wish...

G Dempsey (Leinster); T Bowe (Ospreys), B O'Driscoll (Leinster, captain), L Fitzgerald (Leinster), R Kearney (Leinster); R O'Gara (Munster), T O'Leary (Munster); M Horan (Munster), R Best (Ulster), J Hayes (Munster), D O'Callaghan (Munster), P O'Connell (Munster), A Quinlan (Munster), D Wallace (Munster), J Heaslip (Leinster).

Replacements: J Flannery (Munster), T Buckley (Munster), S Ferris (Ulster), S Jennings (Ulster), E Reddan (Wasps), P Wallace (Ulster), K Earls (Munster).

Might have thought ferris would have started and Quinnie come in later to rile things up a bit if it was tight. Maybe thinking was Earls is short the expirence but i'd say we'll see him at some stage.

Tomas O'Leary in for Reddan at the weekend. Neil Francis called it right in the Tribune then! Slightly disappointed to see Ferris has been dropped!

Fair enough Hag, I realise you mean who would you drop from the regular team, but Earls isn't part of that either is he? He's only after making his debut, at the minute he has great potential, but that's it. He may potentially offer more but he isn't proven at international, like Bowe really. He does have a great career ahead of him though. We can argue about this til the cows come home, but it's just my opinion that Bowe deserves to start given the form he's in. He can play in a few different positions as has been pointed out, so it's not like it's a case of either him or Horgan, which some previously were making it out to be. He can surely be fitted in. It would be very harsh on him, and very discouraging, to be left out after putting in a good show in the first game under a new boss, it would show a complete lack of faith as he's received before.

Posted that before I saw the team, good selection but I'm also surprised Ferris is left out.

you got your wish mid-mon man he'd better make the most of his chance with the lads breathing down his neck but i'll give it to him maybe in hind-sight o'sullivan never really gave him a chance and injuries didn't help either.... But still it a strong side hopefully it'll be a good match!

Yeah, hopefully he'll have a good one, especially as I've been banging on about him the last few days! It's a pretty strong bench alright, good to see Kidney have a few selection headaches and different options, always a good sign.

I have a ticket which I am using, provided by my good friends in Tyrone. My popularity in that county knows no bounds.

Well, among the rugby fraternity at any rate.

Patrique - lucky you!! If you can inveigle another you would end up sitting beside a vastly experienced knowledgeable rugby supporter with a great world view on all matters and even a good knowledge of GAA with a known liking for quiz questions. Then I could sit the other side! But in case there are those few bad Tyrone eggs around (not many mind you!) I am 6' 5" built like a mix between Jonah Lomu and Peter Stringer and would be happy to support your arguments regardless of their worth or indeed veracity.

As someone with personal experience of the horrific disregard for life in this Island my sympathies go out to the family of young Geoghan. Hope they catch the person(s) responsible.

I have no idea who top gear are, or what it is.

But watching City beat United all the time in the Derby is getting boring.
