Bowe should definately be starting against NZ, I don't see why he'd be dropped on the back of that performance, he wasn't exactly poor! Two tries and a hand in two others, poor opposition but as they say you can only beat what's in front of you.

Right Horgan is going to start and i think in their all round game earls and kearney have more to offer. option to maybe move horgan to centre earls to full back and kearney and Bowe on the wings ( could also put kearney at full back and earls on the wing) would mean luke fitzgerald get dropped. It's good to see Kidney has a good lineup headache.

Bowe cant defend that's why Horgan will start ahead of him. Horgan better all round player anyway.

I'm not saying Bowe is better than Horgan, but both can be accomodated.

Calling Bald Eagle and others - anyone come up with any ticket for next Saturday to make an old man very happy? I'd hate to miss it especially now that the doctor has given me the bad news and well ........ who knows where I'll be when they come back again. Hard to put a time frame on these things and opinions differ. But as he told me in the surgery the other night - 'you really shoudln't be this ill - it was very avoidable. I just don't know why you didn't get your flu jab!'

Kearney,
Horgan,
Earls,
Dempsey,
Murphy,

There all better options than Bowe and all can play at either Full Back or Wing.

I'm a big fan of Horgan but on current form alone, Bowe is playing far better.

Also Bowe started out as a full-back, moved to the wing and is currently playing centre for Ospreys, but you evidently have to be playing for Munster or Leinster to be taken seriously.

Fair enough denzel whatever you think. I just think Bowe will start against NZ on the back of a good game at the weekend, he's a good player to nick a try and is much improved over the last year.

Ah Breff don't be taking that attitude. There have been good players playing in the Eng Prem before that have been overlooked and they weren't from Ulster. And lets be honest with regard to the H Cup and Magners Munster (H holders) and Leinster (M holders) have been the form teams over the last few seasons. Ulster rugby is going through a rough patch at present.

Well said Breff, he's in good form as I say so I don't see why he'd be dropped. In my opinion he deserves to play against the all-blacks.

And I must repeat myself, where did anyone say Bowe is better than Horgan? I didn't anyway, I'd be a fan of his myself but my original point was that Bowe should play, I didn't even mention Horgan.

Fair Point Jayo, I didn't mean in the International setup, but on here.

Ferris' selection for the weekend was mocked - he duly got MOTM.

Bowe runs him close for that MOTM, scores two tries and is currently in the form of his life and and an out of form Leinster player and unproven Munster player is considered far better options? Is Bowe not the Celtic leagues top tryscorer ever + covers 3 postions. I'm not saying he should be guaranteed his place, just given a fair crack.

I'd have a bad attitude if I was deriding selections from Munster and Leinster, but I'm not!!! Merely putting forward Tommy Bowes case!!! Nothing wrong with that!!!

Accept all that Breff - I suppose it makes Kidney's first major selection more intriguing! Incidentally its hard to talk about rugby today without expressing total revulsion at what happened to Shannon's Shane Geoghegan on Saturday. Put arguments about team selections in perspective. Thoughts are with his family, friends and clubmates. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

ok who would ye say should be dropped to accomidate Bowe then?

Sorry Bowe's never been the most consistant in an irish jersey granted he's playing some great stuff at the moment.

i agree Jayo, this murderous business has gone on too long. The innocent always seem to suffer in these so called "drug wars". These people are the lowest form of human life and should be rounded up. They say it involves two extended families but it is the decent people of Limerick who are suffering. The news said that 14 people had died as a result of this feud since the year 2000, this is too many and decent people should make their voices heard and report anything suspicious.
