Jeeze Patrique any level of any sport I played there was always some fierce slagging in dressing rooms with some lads getting an awful time. Personal, cutting, whatever but it was all taken as part of the crack. To show it upset you meant it got a hundred times worse. So poor old Stephen - probably on £50K Stg per week - couldn't handle the slagging. Christ my heart goes out to him. Does he know about the abuse Irish lads in England got in the 70s and 80s - from team mates and the opposition ??? Now that was abuse! I don't think that lad lost just his hair - reckon a good few marbles went with it. I don't think a professional dressing room is the type of place Equality Officers would get called in to sort out. Whats the crime anyway - bullying of the follicly challenged? Hatred of the diminushing hirsuted? Only one thing that lad needs - a size 12 up his stubborn backside!

Nice one slasher, I did mention Rooney and Granny's in that article I did not write for the county year book last year.

And Jayo, just been to the pub watching City and had the entiore conversation about Ireland, with everyone, including my son, saying just what you did.

The thing is when the Manchester lads first told me I had doubts, then noticed his hair did look a wig, and now he turns up bald. It would appear that they were right, and Ireland left over his hair as he could not take the slegging.

I imagine he is now too embarrassed to go back.

Too right Jayo, that lad needs a good leather injection with a size 12 needle. Any lad who cant take a bit of slagging had a head problem. We have a few lads on the Cavan panel who think they are a bit above buttermilk and need a reality check too.

Patrique did you see the shinty. Our lads did'nt try too hard imo.

Scotland are simply superior. You do know Glasgow have a bit of a record in the All Ireland hurling championship?

Correct Rhodejim and I can tell ye all now that Sky Diva and Wait A While will win both of their respective races.

I think the first race is at 8.15. If you think, Chelters in March is any good, then you will love this. The best two nights racing you will ever see anywhere in the world.

Did anyone see Ryan Tubridy on Tubridy Tonight last night? Cringe of the highest order! I'm talking about the cookery piece that he did with Nevin Maguire, a complete gentleman by the way! Tubridy's childish carry-on, never mind flirtacious carry on with the female from the audience squirting and throwing food at her was car crash tv of the worst kind! I thought the whole thing was completely insulting to Mr. Maguire and showed Tubridy in a most immature light! Thank God for BBC!

Who's Harry Redknapp? And what is the Lane?

Could we please have less posts about this foreign sport and take more of an interest in a sport that we are actually good at.

Obama for me. I lived with an american family in Queens for a few months, republican supporters. You know they think iraq attacked the twin towers. Ignorance at its highest level is what the republicans have instilled in many americans. Gid help us akk if we get 4 more of that.

I think the US election coverage is unfair. It seems you can lash McCain and Palin out of it but you can't Barack Obama :-)

Cool Rio - now get a big bundle of it delivered to your other half - then give her a ring and ask her if she got your drift :-)
