Just listened to the News at One that Gardai have began "Operation Archer" in Meath and the first weapon they seized is a crossbow, is'nt that very fitting! Cavan_Slasher (Cavan) - Posts: 10253 - 11/09/2008 13:42:28 98030 Link 0 |
the sooner duff is back the better.hunt is shocking and mgeady aint up to this level.he's just to weak.time after time he was pushed off the ball to easily.andy although he's not a winger is a better option than either if these.try shane long on the the right wing.blistering pace.if it werent for shay given we'd be in major trouble.oshea looks suspect in defence at times aswell.time to try someone instead of keane?yes.not a captain and certainly not a 20 million euro player. daytona11 (Kildare) - Posts: 4012 - 11/09/2008 14:19:39 98067 Link 0 |

whats there to know?they were both brutal.how many times does robbie keane have to play poorly before we try someone else. daytona11 (Kildare) - Posts: 4012 - 11/09/2008 14:49:58 98103 Link 0 |

In fairness Kilbane had a great year for one sean, zinedine kilbane but then fell dramatically back to his usual low standards. woops (Kerry) - Posts: 2073 - 11/09/2008 15:01:14 98126 Link 0 |
The Ireland team is a lot more easier on the eye than when Staunton was in charge. A settled team is needed, the subs at the moment will probably get their chance as injuries are likely to happen. Clash-of-da-ash (Galway) - Posts: 927 - 11/09/2008 15:10:23 98139 Link 0 |
Loyal i take that praise with a pinch of salt.i know you dont like me bacause of the fact that i have strongly criticised meath and their managment in the wake of their defeat to wexford. daytona11 (Kildare) - Posts: 4012 - 11/09/2008 15:12:33 98144 Link 0 |
ok seanie maybe im getting ahead of myself by dropping keane.but tell me when the last time the lad scored against world class opposition in a competative game?germany?2002 ring a bell.daryl murphy is a big lad and if our two full backs persist in lumping balls forward at every oppurtunity lets at least use a target man. daytona11 (Kildare) - Posts: 4012 - 11/09/2008 15:14:58 98149 Link 0 |
ya, then we finally beat west ham, cottee and Angell and they sack him!!!! Liamwalkinstown (Dublin) - Posts: 8166 - 11/09/2008 15:16:56 98150 Link 0 |
ok 4 points out of 6 in the first two away games is decent.but typically irish though.celebrate a draw.lets have a bit of clarity.its georgia and montenegro were talking about.we should be picking up maximum points here.look at italy.scary to think that their playing rubbish and still winning.ireland are not capable of creating chances, and when do they do we dont take them.at this level this is not good enough. daytona11 (Kildare) - Posts: 4012 - 11/09/2008 15:18:49 98151 Link 0 |

Ah but it it all came together in the 4-1 demolition of Spurs in the FA Cup. best Everton performance i have ever seen. woops (Kerry) - Posts: 2073 - 11/09/2008 15:42:06 98192 Link 0 |
underestimating montenegro perhaps?not easy to play in a place like that.away.ireland dont play a whole lot of top teams competitively so thats a little unfair. judge him by his last season so- same scored as berbatov- 23 goals in all competitions. seanieGG (Meath) - Posts: 182 - 11/09/2008 15:43:08 98196 Link 0 |
thats true revolution whelan and reid have looked solid.but remember when mcshane first came in?id say whelan will start for stoke this week.andy should still ne in the team somewhere. daytona11 (Kildare) - Posts: 4012 - 11/09/2008 15:52:51 98215 Link 0 |
queens park rangers throught the good times (which there have been very little) and the bad times (more than i care to remember).ill never forget the overhead kick trevor sinclair scored from about thirty yards.if cantona had of done it people would still be talking about it now. daytona11 (Kildare) - Posts: 4012 - 11/09/2008 15:56:08 98219 Link 0 |
I feel sorry for keane at the moment. The service he is getting is awful. Himself and Doyle are 2 potent finishers but I think Robbie is def missing someone like Niall Quinn, knocking the ball down for him. woops (Kerry) - Posts: 2073 - 11/09/2008 16:01:09 98228 Link 0 |
