Just listened to the News at One that Gardai have began "Operation Archer" in Meath and the first weapon they seized is a crossbow, is'nt that very fitting!

the sooner duff is back the better.hunt is shocking and mgeady aint up to this level.he's just to weak.time after time he was pushed off the ball to easily.andy although he's not a winger is a better option than either if these.try shane long on the the right wing.blistering pace.if it werent for shay given we'd be in major trouble.oshea looks suspect in defence at times aswell.time to try someone instead of keane?yes.not a captain and certainly not a 20 million euro player.

Not joking, i nearly crashed!
I had spent years having a got at him and doing my famous Kilbane Dummy in indoor soccer for a laugh, and then we bought him!!!!!!

OK loyal, hope you're licking your lips at the thought of the copying and pasting..set a reminder in the phone for 2 years time lad.
fact of the matter is, 4/6 points in the first 2 away games would indicate that we are on the right track to qualify. Italy are the big guns so expect them to top it. but can u say we'll not get 2nd? or dont have much of a chance of getting 2nd because of our current group of players and set up?
it'll be 8 years since we wer last in a big tournament, and before that it was another 8 years. not much weight behind your argument of going nowhere fast- pretty good chance to progress to S.A.

Daytona- drop our record goal scorer?! what u on there mate? safe to say that would be the stupidest thing to do.

and Liam- ha good stuff with the kilbane dummy, I do it myself for the laugh on the pitch!! just dont have that blistering pace with the head down! ha, he needs have the pitch to pull off that stunt!

I can't believe a person of your intellect would say this, Liam, so I am going to ignore it and put it down to the fact that you have been listening to too much of Holymoly. At the 833rd attempt, Daytona finally gets something right - Kick McGeady off the team and off the panel. This is an historic day for all who know Daytona11 and indeed for all Kildare posters. Well done Daytona, hopefully now if have set yourself a precedent and will be able to continue the good work. Good man.

In fairness Kilbane had a great year for one sean, zinedine kilbane but then fell dramatically back to his usual low standards.
played out of his skin against france in paris, then in the pitovtal game against france in dublin he had the ball skills of a new born calf(sorry ye dubs but a new born calf can't stand and falls over when it just born!!!)

As for Everton, what about the time we stuck on 3 points for ages under Mike Walker.
The joke going around at th time, what have |Everton and a triangle got in common - 3 points!!(sickening joke for so long)

The Ireland team is a lot more easier on the eye than when Staunton was in charge. A settled team is needed, the subs at the moment will probably get their chance as injuries are likely to happen.

Loyal i take that praise with a pinch of salt.i know you dont like me bacause of the fact that i have strongly criticised meath and their managment in the wake of their defeat to wexford.

ok seanie maybe im getting ahead of myself by dropping keane.but tell me when the last time the lad scored against world class opposition in a competative game?germany?2002 ring a bell.daryl murphy is a big lad and if our two full backs persist in lumping balls forward at every oppurtunity lets at least use a target man.

ok 4 points out of 6 in the first two away games is decent.but typically irish though.celebrate a draw.lets have a bit of clarity.its georgia and montenegro were talking about.we should be picking up maximum points here.look at italy.scary to think that their playing rubbish and still winning.ireland are not capable of creating chances, and when do they do we dont take them.at this level this is not good enough.

Holymoly:

I believe Whelan is that good. I think he's a superb player. God knows why he isn't in the Stoke team. He's clever with the ball. Good passer. Never panicks and rarely loses possession. Also a very good tackler! Himself and Reid have really impressed. We'll prove to be VERY hard to beat. I think that's what will get us through. Win 4/5 of our home games and win maybe 1 more away game... I'd take draws for the rest!!!

Ah but it it all came together in the 4-1 demolition of Spurs in the FA Cup. best Everton performance i have ever seen.
Daniel Amokachi running on as a sub and Joe Royle trying to stop him!
Scoring 2 goals. Followed that up with 2 goals against newcastle i nthe league the following week and then decided to be crap again.
Tony Cottee wasn't appreciated at the time he was there, could have saved a lot of money by holding onto him instead of buying failure after failure.
So Liam or any other evertonians what u reckon of everton this year, I think we on a borderline at the moment, where we can pull on from here now and battle for Europe again or else this year is going to be one long painful agony, all depends on next 3/4 games

underestimating montenegro perhaps?not easy to play in a place like that.away.ireland dont play a whole lot of top teams competitively so thats a little unfair. judge him by his last season so- same scored as berbatov- 23 goals in all competitions.

who do you lads support in the soccer anyways? we got two toffees already. daytona? loyal?

queens park rangers throught the good times (which there have been very little) and the bad times (more than i care to remember).ill never forget the overhead kick trevor sinclair scored from about thirty yards.if cantona had of done it people would still be talking about it now.

I feel sorry for keane at the moment. The service he is getting is awful. Himself and Doyle are 2 potent finishers but I think Robbie is def missing someone like Niall Quinn, knocking the ball down for him.
Jesus, Quinny was some operator when you think about it, what did Kevin Philips ever do once Quinn had finished up.
Hopefully now in next 3 home games we will see the 2 boys knocking in the goals
