Agree with Trimmer. You'd swear that Coppers was the only nite club in Dublin.
Its grand if you want to be crammed like sardines for the night and have pint after pint spilled over you.
Best bet to survive a night is to find a spot close to the toilets and buy 4 or 5 drinks at a time.

Good man, Dr. Shepherd. I'll give it a go the next time I'm in Dublin. Thanks for the tip. (I live in London these days.)

Porterhouse

Am i the only one that gets the mother and father of all hangovers after drinking there....

Forgot about the Porterhouse, love that place. And definitely right about the hangovers, why does it seem like such a good idea to insist that we can only drink beers with higher than 8% alcohol and not the same one twice in a night???

Ur not the only one Hags...good spot in but their own beer isn't the best unless you've had a few somewhere else before. Only hangover I've ever got is when I drank in the Porterhouse for the nite!!

Roddy Bolands in Ranelagh is a savage spot that hasn't got a mention yet...

Yeah those were the days. I remember one Monday morning rag week we were outside the door at 10.15. We had to pass the 15 minutes before opening time over in Mulhollands betting on virtual greyhounds. Went in around 10.40 & by 11.30 the place was hoppin! Unreal craic!
