I like it hip, a lovely ambiance in that paticular bar. The trick with the pen and the postcard is quiet a good one.

Loved the Ballyknockan Inn in Ballyknockan Co. Wicklow just outside Blessington. There was always a good atmosphere in it when we went in after visiting relatives. It was closed there for a while but I believe it's opening again soon. Wicklow people are also very knowledgable GAA folk too, good strong club scene there.

Lockjaw you will be disappointed to hear the ark in sligo doesn't serve drink anymore, only food. Presume its a while since u were there cos it hasn't been a good pub for years. All it had goin for it was the very late bar.

Fav pub abrad has to be Rory Dolans McClean ave. NY

Ah right enough it has been a while alright. I was there the night Sligo won Connaught a few years back. Serious late night/early morning session.

Dolans is a good spot on McLean alright. I used to always prime myself in Fagans first then stumble up to Dolans later in the night!!!
