Probably has to be the Dodger himself - Denis Joseph Carey.
Had the ability to win games with a piece of magic and was unlucky enough to be hurling when Kilkenny hadn't the strength in depth that it has now.
In saying that I think Henry will be long seen as a legend in years to come.

Iggy Jones played for Dungannon Clarkes and Tyrone. He won an Ulster title with them in 1956. My old primary school principal. Is there another legend of the same name from Antrim or are we talking about the same person?

The legend that is Pat Lindsay. If you havent heard of Pat Lindsay, dont consider yourself a true gael(regardless of your county).Mark my words you ask any of the members of the great Kerry team of the late 70's and 80's(I asked them),who they feared the most when they met that legendary ros team of the same era, they will give you the same answer. Not Dermot Earley, not Tony Mac,not even the Jigger, but the great Pat Lindsay.
Honourable mentions for Gerry O'Malley and Bill Carlos"The Man with the Velvet Paws"

You cannot be serious putting Pat Lindsay ahead or even in the same category as Gerry O Malley.O Malley was and from what i am told by older Roscommon supporters with Jimmy Murray the two real greats of Roscommon football.Saw O Malley play and he was class.Dermot Earley was Rossies top performer of the past 40 years,Tony McManus second. No doubt Lindsay was a fine full back but like many of his era was often as interested in his opponent as the ball.

Frank McGuigan! I was lucky enough to be in Clones at the Ulster Final 1984, the day Frank famously scored 11 pts - 5 with the right foot, 5 with the left and a free. It was the year I started following county football and I was obviously bitten by the bug as I've been following Tyrone ever since. Other notables would be Eugene McKenna, Kevin McCabe, John Lynch, Plunkett Donaghy and Peter Canavan. Cormac McAnallen would surely have become a legend as he had already accomplished so much in his short life.
