Im not arguing with you, i think on this occasion you win hands down. I was simply stating based on players I've watch grace the pitch. I think humpy was extremely under-rated and very rarely had a bad game, mr consistency if you like, although i think he had a few all star nominations and got a replacement one if i remember correctly.

My father still tells yarns about the rackards but in my lifetime (30ish) Liam Dunne. I will never forget his duels with John Power - they were always fierce and always hard hitting but always on the ball and when the game was over hands were always shook and I once heard a story of Liam asking John how the corn was growing!! Great sportsman. A close second to Damian Fitzhenry, Martin Storey, and Larry O'Gorman.
