Once met Brian Mullins at a function at our local club and you are right, a top fella he was indeed, as well as a mean footballer, I guess you wish he could tog out for Dublin this year Hipster?

As Patrique says Kevin Armstrong. His family have also given tremendous service to Gaelic Games in Antrim.

From a Monaghan perspective I'd give it to Tommy Freeman. He hasnt as many allstars as Nudie (just yet) but the man oozes class. The excitement he generates among the farney army whenever he's on song is a joy to behold. Nudie and Murry are the other two stand-out candidates but Freeman is a class apart.

bumpernut,

I meant Kevin Armstrong as an all rounder, selected on the team of the century (non all Ireland winners) as a hurler, inducted into the hall of fame, and arguably Ulsters best ever footballer.

We have had a number of good hurlers, and Humpy is up there.
