ricky, you very rarely see any of the Martin's U21 players on the senior team anyway, and he dont particuraly need to play for the Martin's senior team to get into the Wexford U21 team,if it is,then by jesus,i hope your not a selector

Re Molly 96

I take it by calling yourself molly96 you are aligning yourself with the glorious year of 1996. In that year the manager was Liam Griffin from Rosslare, a JUNIOR club at the time. Do you think Griffin should have been put aside for a manager from a senior club?
I also said that Askamore had a great underage set up which neither Willie Sunderland or Christy Jacob had anything to do with.

Ricky wat are u talking about!! David Berney wud walk onto the Martins senior team only for the fact he has stopped hurling due to his college commitments. I think he's doin the medicine and law degree or sumtin outrageous like that. A classy hurler, come end of the summer, we could be seeing pics of him an bonnar huggin.

I would Love someone to explain to me how young James Grannell of Ballymurn was not recognised as one of the county's best undeer age hurlers by failing to get a call up to the u21 panel. If we want to progress as a hurling county we must give lads like Grannell from smaller clubs a chance. Does anyone agree with me?

once again lack of preparition will hamper any chance of u21s of wexford doing well. year after year they dont have trails until mar or apr didnt even have a management decided opon until last couple of weeks. When countys who are way ahead of us are training for months leaving us even further behind and with no chance of bridging the gap that exsists between us and top countys like kilkenny. to make things worse these countys get top trainers and management (exp liam sheedy over tipp u21 in recents yeras now with seniors) we get lads at last minute who will take the job on short notice and fair play to does lads but in fairness you wait till apr to get a backround team when all the top countys and clubs have taken them already

Annes Man, to call the Wexford u-21 scene as completely ridiculous is a step too far in my opinion. The majority of lads in that age group are stuck in college or trying to find employment so to start lambasting their level of commitment and skill is "ridiculous".

I think its a disgrace that James Grannel has not even been considered for the panel. We could use some one with his robust playing style in our half back line.
