Great appointment to the senior management team of Paul Flynn. Hopefully this will give the team a good boost this season and bring a bit of alternative thinking to our game and the way we play and train. Well done to the county board for making such a positive decision......

He's only retired a couple of years. Surely even you are old enough to remember him Cahill?

development starts at the beginning not the end , a good appointment nonetheless , the underage structures and games promotion is what should be priority with the county squads coming into consideration after that.

Lets hope its the beginning of an era of rebuilding and getting down up there with the best , surely a specialised fitness and conditioning coach would be on the agenda too?

Portaferry must have been missing a few players today in their victory over Ballygalget. Young Owen Taggart had a good game in the forwards, Paddy McNally pulled off a couple of good scores. Ballygalget did not have a lot to offer apart 2 or 3 players, it was an end of season game not great hurling, over all Portaferry deserved the victory.
