ulster league revamped to include more teams outside ulster ,louth sligo and leitrim teams to be involved now hence the new name tain league but it almost same format as previous years.

This league is still a very good idea but it is really being used now by most clubs as a pre season and for getting young players and fringe players a good run out

All non-ards teams are in Junior Championship as far as I know. This was due to regrading by the county board

I think compared to the rest of Ulster all the clubs bar the Ards, Liatriom and possibly Kilclief fall into the junior. Bredagh would be intermediate, but def not junior or senior. Liatriom should compete in the Senior with the Ards they have been consistently the best South Down team for years

Ports and Crans wasn't played as both clubs were in SHC final the week the league finished and the game wouldn't have changed league standings, Ports finished 1st, Crans 2nd and Castlewellan 3rd (who get promoted as highest non-Ards club). Their option of promotion to Div 1 was taken so someone has to come down. Ballela should technically stay up as they had a better score difference than Shamrocks, as well as better head to head results (A win and a draw). Can anyone from Ballela or Shamrocks confirm their position for this season?

bredagh and liatroim should move to senior , it would make the championship a bit more interesting , give them something to aim for too.

Theyre both stagnating atm at the level theyre at.

i would put kilclief on that level considering they won the intermediate this year beating liatroim in the final, they have good young side and will only get better

Are youse forgetting what happened to Bredagh in the senior championship last year? Bredagh would be a far better team than Liatroim or Kilclief but the truth is there's not of them close to senior level.

Guys any one no who are the managers of the senior clubs and that don't include Bredagh man. It all seems very hush hush and chilled at the minute.
