have to say cement heed it is down to population. the crans have a bigger parish and population than ports and galgets. Loughgeil is the biggest parish in Antrim and with success while winning u will get more part taking in the sport, any sport. if u aint got the catchment area and people ur under pressure from the start.

ballygalget narrowly beat clonduff by three points and had two men sent off for the last 20minutes they would of been beat if it wasn`t by two of their youngster apparently we also narrowly beat the crans by a point it was more of a free competition than a match.

Good match in the park today but the pitch wasn't great with all the rain. Ports just about deserved the win but it was tight.

Ports v Ballygalget in Betsy Gray Final.
Ballycran v Ballygalget in Joe McCrickard Final.

That wasn't very good!

Can any of the Carryduff lads enlighten us as to what happened?

the scoreline reflects the match, st johns were just too good

and before you's start they would of hammered any 3 of the ards teams

True, Carryduff abu that is a very good St Johns team and correct, they would have hammered any of the three ards teams, not sure Frank is an Ards man, but he might be yet another sore loser from Portaferry.

Jesus, thats two wild hammering Carryduff have got in Ulster. A step up that maybe they just aren't ready for at the minute. Was reading the senior report, what happened young Doherty and Earley, no sign of them mentioned. Were always the ones to watch out for at underage level.

have to see if that was another underage st johns team that flatters to decieve. They were world beaters at under16 when i played and i remember at minor beating them well , possible stealing of other clubs players.......wouldnt surprise me

down and out
that st johns team(U18) hav done alot of work done at underage from U10 right up to minor, they travel down south to compete at a higher standard regularly

this is still not enough as you seen last year that antrim minor team got hammered by the all ireland winners, Galway

we can not stop our development

Not a bad game in the park today considering the time of year.
Ballygalget wanted it more and playing agin the wind in the first half helped. 5-5 at half time when crans has a gale force wind tells a tale. Carns didnae do enough in the first half to win it.

Better team won at the end of the day. I was expectin the Crans to take this one on form. What has Bricktop to say??

Cleansheet.

What more can a man do?

We lost it up front by hitting some bad wides and to be fair the galgets defence were lucky more than once with goal opportunities.

We'll make do with Jeremiah whilst the rest can fight over the crumbs.
