its such a big deal because it was the 1st team from outside the ards to claim the minor championship
i cant wait till there is about 6 0r 7 teams competing against the ards

ya big deal for carryduff and well done to yas as i said before but they way yous are talkin its all out of perspective and the state of down hurling is not the fault of the ards clubs it was us that kept it goin in down while they rest of you didnt bother and for many years competed wiyh the best in the country but your correct in hope there is 6r7 competeing with the ards but it must be at senior level as well to make it benifit the county team sadly i cant see it happening for at least 10 to 15 years if at all

ianog ur right but we just won the first minor championship outside the ards so let us have it
and you ards arent as good as you think you are..each ards team is roughly a third of the county team with the rest not too far off and youse still struggle in antrim league.

coneill....finishing 4th, 5th & 6th in antrim league is hardly struggling...! using that thinking, the rest of the county may forget about it.

coneill u say the ards arent that good and the rest arent that far off ffs wise up ur senior teams cant compete with the ards reserves who are a brave bit off full senior players so i think yas are way off senior level i dont count down div 1 as senior think before you say something

Coneill yous have had a bit of success and its good to see but lets not get carried away lets show a bit of humility for the clubs that have been there for generations hopefully one day you will have some of their tradition but theres a long long long way to go

Exactly , you will stuggle above antrim div 4
Div3 has a few teams who would be dropping down from an ultra competitive div 2

Teams such as ballycastle and the glenariffes ,st johns , proper good hurling teams who have players who will be looking for intercounty slots.

Thats where bredagh have come up against and are struggling.
Youre behind them.Ards are in div 1 , with teams who have contested all ireland club finals in recent years. Crans were in the ulster champ not too long ago and ran dunloy close. Galgets/ports have done likewise and competed at the top level consistently for years.

Dont lecture anyone on the subject, youre a massive way away from the ards yet. You have 1 minor champ and a junior championship.

We have 20 plus senior champs each between us and the galgets were a point away from an all ireland club final. We dont even compete in your " championship".
