yes, Kilclief through to the IHC final after a dramatic win against Ballela in Castlewellan. They will meet Liatriom in the final after they beat Clonduff 0-19 to 0-9 at Ballela.

In the JHC semi final last night in Kilcoo, Castlewellan beat Ballyvarley 2-11 to 1-9 in a very rough and tumble contest. Both teams had their squads reduced to 14 men after some clashes of personalities throughout the match. There was also some dodgy point decisions affecting both teams, and Ballyvarley unlucky to have a penalty saved in the first half. Castlewellan through to the final against Carryduff, which should be interesting as Carryduff won at Castlewellan a few months back by a single point after a last 10 minute onslaught where they scored 3-2 after being lead 0-22 to 0-12.

The leagues are banjaxed with teams not looking like they want to finish their campaigns for this season! Will it be sorted?

Barackbuster I think Kilclief have to play Newry for a place in the final?

Ballycran have Div 1 won and we have Div 2. Newry are down. I'd say there'll be few league matches played from now on.

ya Ballela very unluckey last night went up to see match it was hard but fair!!!! ballela have a very young looking team they were the better hurlers but kilceilf boys were stronger. jonathan mc cusker and mal magee was not playing for Ballela was told they were away abroad working think Ballela would have walked it with those two playing, but fair play to kilielf they never give up and won withn the last puck of the game.

Youll see a tanking in the div2 seeing as the ards dont have a 2nds game on hopefully as that league is pointless as crans have it won at a canter. The fakery of the results in the 3rds will be wiped off the board. As ive said before , if ards get their named 3rds panels out they will tank the mainlanders. Heard before of these results , " oh look cwellan beat crans for example." Pish.

It only says four teams in the IHC section on the Down website, Newry Shamrocks not there, as well as Carryduff in the JHC

Down and out yur havin a laugh - everyone knows yus are struggling for numbers and hate playing seconds/thirds on same night. So just when have / will these tankings take place? Results this year dont lie.

Well done the Ports, they've got their hands on the prestigious Div2 title and the lengths they went to do this beggars belief.

Will Dule be lining out in the Betsy Grey?

what are you saying bricktop - that they played their seconds games on a different night etc etc in order to win div 2. Surely not!!!

crans have to beat st johns to stay up. Simple as that. Johnies are no world beaters , but neither are the ballycran 2nds(masquerading as seniors).

it will be interesting to see what the ballycrans II's do with the last three games

crans - would you go the whole season winning all 14 games or put them down to the III's and try and do the double if clonduff beat portaferry on monday nite

Big match in Clonduff tonight! If Ports win its all over. We'll be sending a strong squad so.
